After some helpful advice from multiple sites, i reworked the base a bit so he didn't look like he was falling over. Also, i didn't paint him the way forgeworld did, as i felt the leader of the Carcharodons (space sharks) should look "sharky" in a way, so i did his lightning claws and chainfists in a bone colour to give it the shark teeth effect, also painted his trim in blue instead of gold. hope you like it

I like that model more each time I see it. Honestly that and the Huron model from FW are two of the best things they've done.

Thanks ^_^ i like to make nice bases, but this is the most work I've put into one yet, as well as the most detailed. I'm glad everyone is enjoying it as much as I am.

The blue trim works really well. Comes off as much more aquatic. The bone looks good too. Nicely done!

Really nice work, that base is gorgeous.

This model (the FW one, not yours) is just BEGGING for a Chaos conversion.

great model, good paint job. I like the blood and gore look, but we gotta becareful not to go overboard or cover up our paint job. Too much is distracting from the model. I keep looking at all the blood on the base and not your model. It more then likely looks fantastic in person, overall I think you did a good job on the model, and the base structure the model is on I love.

it's actually very muted in person, with the exception of the back where it's coming out of the pipe, that does indeed stand out. but in person all of the blood on the slabs he's standing on looks almost brown and mixes in with the rust due to all the layers of wash i threw on. it actually looked far worse during the WIP shots i toned it down quite a bit after some advice from a lot of people.

Not a fan of the blood at all. You're better getting a pot of Tamiya clear red for blood effects, even dried blood has a certain "sheen" to it that acrylic paints cannot replicate. Here's a tutorial on using the aforementioned paint: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.php?autocom=ineo&showarticle=298.

Rest of it looks good though.

Oooooo, that looks amazing, and ridiculously simple to do. once i have some free time I'll definitely have to go out and pick some up and redo the blood. Thank you very much for that

Looks Great!

And to add about the blood. I agree with Grimtuff, though i like using a Little bit of the Old Chesnut Ink mixed with the blood color i am using. IF you have it hah. It gives it that shine that looks more realistic.

But i love the blue, makes the model pop out.

SO we need to get rid of the "You know you should be painting" Headliner... every time i see it i think of the collection of models sitting unpainted
