*Morrigan and OT head out while Cal finishes digging the slug out of the Daemonette's shoulder and begins stitching the wound up*

Larry: So nobody has her number?

*Sighs*

*Larry sits at desk and starts playing Fallout: New Vegas*

*Leo is watching TV slightly surprised nobody has tried to attack her yet*

OOC: New Vegas is my all time favorite game ever.

OOC I haven't played it that much but I watched my bro play it heaps.

*Perenelle kisses OT goodbye as he goes to find Amelia then puts in Iron man 5 and sits down in OT's big armchair*

*Leo gets of couch and hobbles of to the kitchen*

*Starts humming the wizard of oz*

[Looks over] I'm more worried that Benny hasn't spoken since. I wonder if his brain wasn't slowed down, when that bullet was just inches from him for several hours.

*Cal looks at Benny*

I thought he was just worried about you...

Should I be worried about those Chronos guys coming after me? I know already that I'm an anomaly

[Looks over] Well, they said they don't kill. So I suspect they're going to just find something and push it over to right the balance.
[Benny staring at wall and flinching]

Cal: Benny, are you alright?

*Morrigan is tracking Amelia while OT follows*

*sighs*

[Benny nods and goes to sit somewhere out of the way]

[Watches from examination room] ...Find your blanket, Benny.

[Benny shakes head and gives the thumbs up] [Twitches occasionally]

If there's a way to completely forget the last afternoon, I'd recommend someone helps with that.

Cal: Well I'm a therapist but OT banned all memory altering tech. He says brainwashing of that type is more evil than murder.

*Still following the tracks made by the shooter*

*Moving quicker now*

Morrigan: These are getting fresher, c'mon!

*Starts moving swiftly but silently*

*Tracks that Morrigan is following lead to a thick tree with words carved onto its trunk*

*The words 'Don't follow' are easily made out*

*Morri swears and punches the tress leaving a splintered dent*

Morrigan: I'll find that little... nevermind. Gimme a sec

*Morri spends several minutes searching for Amelia's trail before grinning and pointing*

Morrigan: She's knows how to hide pretty well, but not well enough! C'mon!

*Continues on at a reduced pace*

*Tracks abruptly end mid-step*

*Morri stops and looks around, seeing displaces leaves and almost invisible scars on the bark she starts climbing after Amelia*

Morrigan: Took the trees like a monkey, wonder who she doesn't want trailing her...

*Climbing above Morrigan*

*Hears a snap*

OH FU-

*Starts falling*

*Morrigan hears the snap and looks up*

Morrigan: Amelia? OH CRA-OWWW!

*Amelia slams into Morrigan knocking them both from the trees.
OT hears the commotion and looks up at the tree from where he was standing*

OT: Morriga-OOOMPH*

*Morri and Amelia land on top of OT*

*Muffled*OT: Hi Amelia... care to get off me?

*Gets up and out of indecent pose*

Ouch...What're you guys doing here...

*Rubs back*

*Helps Morrigan up*

Sorry for landing on your face...The way I did...I was climbing, heard something behind me and got spooked...And the next thing I know...I land in a pile of feathers...

OT: THAT WAS US! What are you even doing out here?!

*Morrigan is rubbing her wing*

Morrigan: I think it's sprained!

You can sprain a wing? Well how was I meant to know that? I was following whatever shot at Benny, and then I start hearing voices from behind, all I know, it could anything! So I covered my tracks as fast and as well as I could, and climbed...

*Looks at Morrigan*

Is it bad?

*Morrigan tries to spread her left wing and yelps*

Morrigan: I'm grounded for now. What worries me more is why you didn't call any of us for help? Who knows what it could have been?

*Waves phone*

Forgot to charge it last night. And I didn't want the shooter to get away. But its too late for that, he probably heard the shot and is long gone by now. From what I can tell, he's good. Took me a solid hour to find any trace of him, and I couldn't track as fast as I wanted to because I kept on losing him.

*Helps Morrigan*

No use staying out here. Lets head back.

Morrigan: Well I could try and track him. Not that you're bad or anything but I think I'm a better tracker than you.
