I collect:

Grand alliance death (whole alliance)

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

Well i am a collector foremost. But i understand the wargamers wanting complete factions to battle against. But how about releasing factions in rules before the mini's are developed? people could proxy the figures and test the rules.

Joining forces with another company would be cool, for example Warlord, thy don't have an SF miniature game in their assortment as far as i know.

No need to develop a civil war. The Iron Core universe has Family Houses with their own armies in the Eisenkern dominion. They squabble about resources amongst themselves and with the Eisenkern "national" troops already. Think "Middle-Ages Germany" fiefdoms.

I think that at a minimum all you need is infantry +vehicle OR walker.

The shadowkesh seem like prime counts as Tau. You need basic troops and some sort of battle suit/walker thing. That is it. Most everything else can come along slowly. You know that with the right aesthetic choices, you could sell a ton of cool alien armored suits fit to handle any...crisis.

Hmm. I would've pictured the Shadowkesh as a counts-as Dark Eldar, what with their chained up feral guys.

I'd still like to see some more artwork of the other two human factions.

Protectorate looked promising

Shadokesh are going to be next, from every indication.

We just don't know when that will be...

I'd rather it be the Shadokesh, after thinking more and more about it. I have a hankering for that mix of fleshy units, armoured units, robes, and giant space robotz.

I like the progress chart. Helps to know exactly what remains to be done.

If you look at the description, under instruction, it mentions "last minuet changes." Not my style of dancing but ok, I guess?

Damn you eyes and damn you spell checker

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

That chart, and plan to update as each kit hits a new phase, as well as the "on the water" end of September goal, are all greatly appreciated!

In regards to the last conversation about factions and releases. I have been reading all the comments and thinking about this the last couple of days. I am of the opinion that the Shadokesh need a full launch, so we do not end up with a Swiss cheese unit list.

From there on out, I think switching up the factions and releasing smaller sections, would be a good idea.
I want to give you a complete game, something to gain a foothold and traction not only with the customers but with the hesitant retailers. It also helps to market at conventions if the offering are impressive to the eyes. Nothing says bad ass like a full table packed with terrain, vehicles and infantry.

Sounds good to me and great reasoning - I'm looking forward to my own table packed full of Eisenkern and Shadokesh! Also converted teams of Eisenkern and Shadokesh dreadball players ; p

I love the hell out of that ... Anti Air? support Valkir variant with the guns on each arm. Looks even more awesome than the rest of them.

Update #134

Valkir Support Troopers and estimated delivery for stage 3
6 comments

I have some shots of the assembled Support Troopers to share and a delivery estimator that may help resolve questions of where we are with each kit. As we complete each major phase I will post an update to reflect these changes.

As it stands now I hope to ship stage 3 from China to HK and its final sea voyage by the end of September.

Great! I enjoy the direction that this is all going. Missed the first KS, but if you do a second sometime next year once all the backers from the first one have their stuff then I will back that for sure. Also I agree, your reasoning is well laid out and makes a lot of sense.

NoseGoblin, will the "knight;y" Valkir heads fit on the regular stormtroopers? Also, will there be enough fully-helmeted heads for all the Black Widows and all members of the command kit?

I love these sculpts. I'm really glad they all look like they are firing their weapons, and not perry-marching. Please, please make the sniper firing his or her rifle rather than posing next to it like the Bones Imef Sniper or Akosha from Sedition Wars. One weapon-stroker is enough for any range of minis. Thanks!

Maybe he still hasn't forgiven the Bynars for the last changes they inflicted on Riker's favorite sultry hologram.

I think the heads are a tad too large, they will fit but they are not scaled for the Stormtroopers.

Sniper comes firing or at ease...

Yeah, those are both better than showing up in the middle of the warzone holding your gun by its barrel.

Or J-Pop dance-fighting.

And the Black Widows have a full set of enclosed helmets?

Yep, sorry missed answering that... Yes, they will have enough full helmets and face makes for the squad.

The will also come with the non helmet heads and possibly, if there is room on the sprue, the helmeted without facemasks.

Thank you. Now I can start making plans...

It's a shame we can't add more to our pledges, but I'll certainly be buying at retail.

I am a big fan of these. Not so much that the news always seems to be bad, but certainly of the transparency and communication therin.

Three sets of heads? Enough to equip the full squad in the same way? Music to my ears.
