Which race do you think is better or which would you rather be?

Personally I'm with the Dwarfs, just about everything about them would make me want to be a Dwarf vs being some dainty elf

I'm kind of split, on the one hand, Elf Chicks are hot, and the whole ancient wisdom thing sounds pretty awesome, on the other hand Dwarfs have awesome beards, and think that most problems can be solved with liberal application of cannon shots.

I am torn.

It comes down to beards´n´beer - since elves lack both I go with dwarfs for sure!

Dwarf for me please.

I'm already short... and a bit stout... I think I am one. I just need an epic beard and really boss axe or warhammer.

I'll go for Dwarfs of course. They have tough infantry that can fight well and stick around. And great shooting and magic defense.

Go elves if you like more magic, faster elite infantry and cavalry.

Let's not forget culture, of course both races have great armies but the cultures of each race enters into it as well.

I think dwarfs are better as an army but I'd rather be an elf. Both have their good sides (I play both).

Dwarf I love my beard and I'm fairly stoic with a strong sense of duty and honor. I don't like elves because they are hairless emos, and who wants to live forever anyway?

Culturally, Dwarfs. Physically, Elves.

Being a tall smart ninja is a win not having a beard that is longer than you are tall pretty sweet but I would go elf haha i dig cannons and machines but elves just more shenanigans.

id have to say go elves, taller, smarter, better looking, can reach the cookies on the top shelf (without a stool or box) plus id rather be on the side that likely has the fire breathing 10k year old pissed off flying lizard helping it than sitting across the feild waiting for it to come get me haha

Elves are awesome, dwarves are slow and cant use magic, but i will say this, dwarves have awesome guns and warmachines, and more importantly they have awesome beards!!!

No other armyis in a better position to blow off that Dragons head then Dwarfs, rune of forging/burning if it has regen and no flying thanks to anvil of doom means easy pickins.

It has long been an established fact I am in fact an over grown Halfling.

hmm ill agree that dwarvs can blow up my dragon however, A you have to be lucky, and B you better have mroe than one cannon b.c with 7 wounds one lucky cannon ball wont do it and when my beastie gets to you things die...quickly

is rune of burning a flaming atk? if so my dragon has 2+ ward....

Dragon armor only wards the rider sadly.

Dwarfs are the redshirts of WHFB. Everyone kicks the tar out of them, and their whole race has essentially been LOSING since they first poked their heads out of the ground. The only race that consistently defeats Elves are...other Elves. They win. Dwarfs can get stuffed.

Taller, yes

Smarter, no

Better looking, yes

Top shelf, dwarf shelves are shorter so we can too

Dragon, target for cannons with rune of penetration (and any dwarf army worth its beard is going to have more then one cannon) and bolt throwers with the rune of seeking or maybe a character with the Master Rune of Smiting.

Oh and let's not forget the Organ Gun to. Dragons aren't that hard to kill for a Dwarf army.

I originally picked Dwarfs as a knee-jerk reaction but having looked at Elven women I'm now regretting it.

no dragon armour counts for your mount as well, it give it to the MODEL both rider and monster/mount recieve the bonus, i orginally thought it was only the rider as well until the guy who worked at GW corrected me during a game
and yes i know dwarvs are in the best position to kill a dragon, however one peice of relativley tall terrain and youd be surprised at how easy you may find to hide him hehe sneaky TLOS

I say go dwarves, and take it a step further and rock Chaos Dwarves. Man do I love my little people of chaos....

Then you have a giant lizard sitting behind terrain doing nothing because my anvil keeps it from flying. Not so sneaky

Ya I play High Elves so Im a little biased.......

But anyway Elves are way more athletic and make better Blood Bowl players. So they get payed more. l So thats why I'd be an Elf over a Dwarf in the Fantasy universe.
