12cm tall makes it a nice size for 28mm SF games. This is what an Ariadna TAG should probably look like.

There are two versions. One in plain green and the second in camouflage colours. Snap-fit them together, base them if you want to, and put them on the table!

Crew figures are also available...

Hmmm...I was actually wondering if the feet aren't attached, and we're looking at the model posed on its "ankles"?

Looks like it definitely needs something down there to round it out...

I'm not a fan of the feet or the legs for that matter, overall the models look awsome.

I like it a lot. The only problem is that shipping will cost a third as much as the kit itself.

It's like they put all of their effort into the upper portion of the model, and phoned in the rest. Overall, it's a poor figure.

I like it, legs/feet are pretty reminiscent of a lot of anime and video game mecha. Realistic? No. A problem? Also no. The sale is nice, but I don't think I'd get one for full price.

I think it's cool looking, but the feet are a big problem for me.

Also, thanks for posting this. Always nice to see new mecha. I got to HLJ once in a while but not nearly enough.

I agree with the comments on the feet, would definitely need to add something more substantial.

It is a good base for some conversion fun though...

I've ordered one. I reckon it will be easy to beef up the feet with some plasticard.

The legs are clearly meant to have lines similar to a woman's leg in a high heel shoe, just without the shoe. You can see it in a lot of robot anime based around female pilots. It really doesn't fit well with the "armored fighting vehicle" asthetic though.

I can't find any links for the crew, I've been looking for 28mm anime style models but haven't found anything. Are there no manufacturers for that sort of thing?

Are you sure that is the crew figure and you didn't accidentally link a picture of a 9-year-old anime fetish maid?

ED-209 comes to mind when I see this model. The feet would definitely need some conversion work, but the rest of the model is gold.

On another note, I don't know if I've been working at my computer too long this morning already, but when glancing at this thread title, I thought it said, "Walker Texas Robot models from HLJ." Now that would be something.

The product description says the parts are interchangeable and can be used with the Moe Moe Block Angel Device figures found here...

http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljlist?Scale=0&MacroType=All&SeriTxt1=moe%20moe%20block&Dis=-2&GenreCode=All

I don't think the scale is precise.

If the "crew" figures were cheaper I might get some for my Hive Fleet Kawaii Ningyo.

Reaper, Hasslefree....Soda Pop would be the obvious choice.

I think I'd refer them to a podiatrist for some nice, corrective shoes. Seriously, the fact that any slight movement of air in the room will probably topple those models is proof that the feet are too small to be appealing or practical for either a "real" battle mech or a model of one.

I like it a lot. Even like the feet actually. It does look a bit top heavy but think that makes it all the more interesting to think how this thing moves around. It is very Metal Gear like and that is very cool look that not too many miniature companies are really looking at.

It's not too big for a TAG? I sort of like it (minus the tiny feet).

It probably is big for a TAG but I reckon the Ariadna TAG will be bigger and clunkier because it is based on lower technology.
