Huh? My last girlfriend's friend were a bunch of sods who hated me for the simple reason that I was taking away her time from them . I just hate people who prove stereotypes is all or think that they can get away with doing what they want at the expense of others. Semi pychotic people generally seem to be easier to get on with (with a little effort) and less two face. ^^

And just because they believe doesn't mean it's not true. See what I did thar. I agree that the traditional views of women can be stupid sometimes, but poll the universe and ask if men or women are more complex. There's not much wiggle room on that one. And if you're using the "people are stupid" argument, you are a person too... but I don't think you're stupid. I know it's frustrating to have people saying things that sound ignorant to you, but there's a good chance they're saying it from personal experience so you can't expect much more.

The thing is, my personal experience says otherwise, thus my more moderate viewpoint. Men are just as complex and interesting as women, which is to say that there's a segment of men who are boring dolts just like there's a segment of women who are air-headed turds.

Females who are convinced that are males are idiots, and as such, look down their noses at us "dirty pigs".

Uh...I think that this topic is dominated by people stating the odd negative point about women, rather than men, is as the topic states, because this is a male dominated forum, and a topic about discussing the little things you don't understand about the opposite sex. So yeah...keep it light hearted and don't get too riled up by anything people. If a person's views bug you too much just swap to a more pleasant topic and feel satisfied that they'll never bother you with them in the real world. =P

I'm not directing this at Melissia but I often get irritated on Dakka when I see people say things like "Wow, people at my school are so stupid", "my town is full of stupid people" etc. Some people seem to think they're superior to other people in their real life and have some kind of elitist attitude. The boy likes a girl, and he tells her how he feels about her. The two of them grow towards each-other and start to cuddle each-other. After a while, the boy wants to prove it, and kiss the girl. He waits until the end of school, but just in the last hour of the school-day, the two of them sit next to each-other in a computer class. The boy goes online on facebook and reads that, from this day, the girl has a relationship with someone else.

This happened to me. Today.

could be. I just switched school, and now, I kinda only hang out with girls. But all of them, except said girl, are just 'ugh'. I can't stand one of them, the other looks like a troll, two others are in a grade higher than me, and the rest had boyfriends.
