So, this is the first model i've modded. I had an extra AoBR warboss and wanted a mek, so I got crafty! The kff came out a little big, but i like it. I dont play competitively and my friends wont complain about seeing it easier.

I regret not making the shading on the skin more bold. I put 3 different layers of green by mixing in yellow, but its too subtle and you cant really tell.

Comments welcome!

creative.. The back looks a little to big for even a single orc to carry... I would have a grot or 3 to help him move the pack.

Thanks, yeah I was debating putting another grot or two to help him carry it. I was originally going to put a wheel as Arakasi said, but cant find one suitable.

Lol, I like it. Orks were never practical or realisticso this fits right in. I like the little brain/helmet thing on his head. The more he believes it works, the more it does. Gotta love Orks

Thats great, I think it would be awesome if the ork was hunched over, or as others said, grots were helping, regardless I love it!

I think it would look a little better if the ork was bent over just a bit, to give that impression of if being heavy. Good job though and nice painting!

Or, you could put a little nozzle on the bottom like a jet-pack. The weight of the kff would be too heavy to actually fly, so it just would help him lift it. Hehe.

Well i was scared about ruining my bases at first too, but it really is easy; just put thinned down scorched/ other dark brown on the gravel, wait, and drybrush it with bleached bone. Then paint the rest of the base with a brighter brown, gravejard earth or bestial brown. Just try different ways on your boys, find a sheme that fits you, and then move on to the rest of the horde

forgot: then write the name of the model on the base, like rukk, mogroff, fling, snik, etc. this really adds fun to the game, trust me

Love the use of deffcopta parts, great work. You should even it out a bit and put some GUBBINS at the front as well. That would make him look really cool!

Thanks for that, I think I will try to paint some of my bases. This one wont get it till I feel comfortable doing it. That and I think Im going to add some grots helping him carry it.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys!
