Kromlech Goblins are way bigger than GW grots.
Their guns are shown on 60mm bases, I think, so you can see that they are pretty big.
Kromlech orks are pretty close to GW boys in general. I've got some trenchcoat bodies which are maybe a tiny bit bulkier, some kneeling legs which look exactly the same scale and the surgeon, who is bigger than a boy but not quite nob sized.

They're a pretty good match for all 28mm wargame models, especially greenskins. I think Kromlech will be getting quite a few sales thanks to GW's bad pricing decisions for the mkek gunz, especially Kromlech also design some 'energy weapon' variants

Found these new pictures on the How to Paint Citadel Miniatures: Shokk Attack Gun and Mek Gunz. I have also done a blog post about these pictures http://citadelofpaint.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/more-and-more-orks.html What do you think these 'Eavy armour units with kombi-weapons could be? They are too big to be tankbustas/kommados as they are more nob sized. EDIT: For some reason I couldn't get the pictures to work. If you want to view the images follow the url. These models are suspected to be nobz with lots of bitz stuck on them.

Such anger over something insignificant. I suggest you take a break from the hobby, as it is clearly not achieving the goals it is meant to reach. Buy a kitten.
Such condescension over a simple forum post. I suggest you take a break from this thread, as it is clearly not achieving the goals it is meant to reach.
Tbh, this is just *way* overpriced for what it is. I like the game, I love the models, I've been an active Ork player since 3rd. Don't patronize me, please.
Because hey, you can't expect me to buy $500 of Mek Gunz just because it's the way it's designed to be played, with almost nothing to kitbash afterwards...

How much were those running you apiece? If they are comparable in size to the new Gunz, I might pick those up to fill the slots of Kannonz and Lobbas. As much as I love the AA Gun we are getting, I can't justify their cost to get them. I'd rather just buy Dakka Jetz at that point and do some old fashioned dog fighting.

Those are some nice miniatures, but if I could play 40K using miniatures from another company, I could just as well play the other game instead. It's not like GW are even remotely good at writing rules. I play 40k because of the fluff and the miniatures, but I still have some hope left for the upcoming Codex: Orks.
Sadly 40K is just about dead where I play, so I won't get to play as often anymore. I'll probably still try to finish painting my Ork force, but it is going to be hard justifying buying new miniatures at all at this price level.

You don't 'Need' o use GW minis for 40k. You can use what ever minis you wish. Ok you will not be abl to play them at a GW store, but as a lot of us do not play at a GW store that is not a big problem. I like GW stuff too, but if I see a nice model that is a bit cheaper and works I will buy it. That is why third party suppliers exist. If Game Workshop do not want us to buy third party they should price a lot more reasonably and use their market share to force the others out, not try and use bully tactics. Soapbox over. Lets see this new dex already!

The game has always been pretty fun but that's despite the rules not thanks to them.
Heck complaining about the rules is half the fun of GW games.
