Interesting that two of the three appear to have female protagonists.

Yes! A sequel to Ougunned! That one was pretty fun, showing us the propagandists of the Imperium at work.
Bugger, I guess the original was popular enough that the sequel is coming to hardback first...

Hmm, it's been a while since I was actually interested in BL releases. All 3 sound good, assuming they release them in reasonable formats and not ultra limited edition hardback

I loved Outgunned so its sequel is my favourite from the three shown but the other two also sound interesting so hopefully they will not disappoint.

I love the Ad Mech lady’s hair of wires. It looks like that old white dwarf cover or that necromunda bounty hunter (that I think is based off the former)

I'm hoping they put out a new omnibus to match the Eisenhorn one from 2022. Though those often get just released with no announcement.

I hope we get some 'red text' editions of Malleus and Hereticus to go with the Xenos one.

The covers are ugly as sin. I'm keen to read it because I'm interested in a bit of a delve into the Kin. Trouble is Gav Thorpe is extremely hit and miss bless him.
Dark Angels books and Fantasy Dwarf books were pretty good.

Shows how absolutely absurd Warhammer Book prices can be that a signed, numbered, limited edition hardback book with special unique covers and short stories included, is probably going to end up being a cheaper way to get to read those book than buying a used copy of the mass produced ordinary paperbacks that released within the past few years.

Is that the only “affordable” way to get the Twice Dead King series now?
Why the hell don’t they print a second run of books that command such prices?

Well, that's kind of what they have done here, but at pretty inflated prices!

Most BL books are available digitally.
Honestly with the ability to zoom into text it's how I do most of my reading now.

I can’t read novels off a screen. I’ve tried it many times, but I just can’t get into the visualization stage of reading it I’m using a phone or tablet. If the choice is read it from an ebook or don’t read it at all, the effect is the same either way.
I also tried the audiobooks BL was selling, but I just tune them out like a car radio during a tricky merge.

Have you tried an actual e-reader like a Kindle Paperwite? They are night-and-day different to a tablet/phone. With the backlight built into most models now they are effortless to read with.
I'm a big fan of books, but I do a LOT of reading now on my Paperwite e-book. It's great being able to read a 1000page novel without my fingers aching; without cracking the spine; and without having to contort my back into odd angles at night to read in dimmer light.
Heck you can have the lights fully off and keep reading.
Tablets and phones have a very harsh bright glare to them; plus they are digital so there's always the temptation to get lulled into checking social media/forums/emails/something else and get distracted.

That and the fact Kindles are rubbish with pictures/images* are the only real downsides
Oh and you can't page flip easily. So for novels they are great; but for reference material or such a physical book is 100% the best and PC/pdf second best
*its not just that they are black and white only; their whole interface and processor speed are all quite slow and not really slick.

You also can't have a shelf of ebooks.
And real books don't run out of battery.
And you can't [realistically] buy ebooks second hand.
And a real book won't be made unreadable as technology changes.

Can’t wipe your backside with a Kindle when it all goes wrong on a camping trip, either.

But you CAN read in the dark without waking up the person next to you as you don't have to have the main light on.
There are upsides and downsides to both - I still buy books. And yes the Kindle "library" is a bit of a pain to work with (because like a lot of modern interfaces its made to sell you things not organise your things)
But I still utterly love it. Heck you can even get that "book shop experience" by having samples from Amazon sent to your ereader (its an option on the righthand side in all the buying and wishlist part when viewing an ebook).

All true, but you CAN buy franchise ebooks at somewhat normal prices compared to shelling out for secondhand books like these. I'm definitely still on the side of print books, but ebooks (on an ereader specifically, not on a tablet for me) are good for certain things.

I have not tried an ereader. Perhaps that would solve my problems. However, I still have a huge library of books to get through, and a love of the tactile experience. When I get older and my eyes fail me more and more, I’ll get that kindle and finally read up on those wacky Newcrons.
