Are you thinking of Vermintide? He wrote it under the pseudonym Bruno Lee.

More desperate for the included Book of Saints, really. It'll turn out to just be reprints of existing codex text, won't it?

It will simply contain links to their Lexicanum entries

Eager to see what the latest retcons will be, since Saint Dolan's been done so dirty in the more recent codices.

Never read them. What was there?

The Plague of Unbelief was originally a simple rebellion by a cardinal and his cronies taking advantage of a lack of Imperial oversight, carving out a little empire for himself. Saint Dolan spoke out against him, got put on trial and martyred, and then the people rose up against the oppressors.

Now, the Dawn of Fire series says that there's some weird artefact behind the whole thing that Abaddon can weaponise, and the 8th edition Codex mentions the plague being put down by the first mass deployment of the Adepta Sororitas, which inspired the cardinal's followers to turn on him.

Dawn of Fire is trash but why did they made changes in a codex? I guess Bucharis being an idiot was not enough.

Part of the fun of a new codex is seeing what new mistakes got made. In the 10th edition Sororitas codex, they've corrected the mistake from 9th where they had Vandire being an Ecclesiarch that usurped the Administratum (the inverse is true), but in the very same paragraph they throw the whole thing out by thousand years, making it M37 instead of M36! One hand giveth, the other taketh away...

Interesting that it's seemingly alluding to the events of "Cadian Blood" with the Abaddon bit.

Out of the loop on this front, but have any new Crime novels been announced as of late?

The 40K Crime books have been mostly excellent. I certainly look forward to more, but have not seen any announced recently.

Shame, as I really enjoy it all taking place in a single place and there is some, but not an awful lot of, overlap between the various stories, while the characters stay in their own lanes / have their own arcs.

Seems they stopped doing the regular Inferno! books completely, pity.

Eh. 15 Hours has fewer unintentionally GrimDerp moments like Scrabs full of goo, literal child soldiers, or playing hot potato with melta guns...

That paperback release for Queen of Knives (pre-order next week) is pretty rapid, isn't it?

They wrote it is a regular release so I guess it is a regular = non-limited hardback. Cadia and Bile are paperbacks.

Ah, that makes more sense. Must have been delayed, since the Ahriman book is having its hardback alongside the LE.

I can't believe it took this long for them to do something with Gryphonne.

Yeah, Tyranid invasion seems like a ready script for a series of novels.

Oh snap, I usually give marine books a wide berth, but the previous novels by Robbie about the Space Sharks have been damned good reads, still hoping for a next one in that series.
