So my question is, who would win in a 1v1
ghazghkull mag uruk thraka?
or
Abbadon the despoiler?
straight up 1v1, no surprise attacks, just a fair 1v1

Failbaddon's going to take about ten attacks to down Gazhkull versus the Ork's thirty to down Failbaddon, since he strikes in Initiative order he's probably going to win barring insane luck on the Ork player's side.
Though realistically Gazhkull is probably going to get the charge and be accompanied by a band of Orks, which evens the odds a bit. Alternately, this is an Apocalypse game and Gazhkull is the mandatory Warboss in a Green Tide formation.

Abaddon is probably the most powerful Space Marine out there right now and likely able to stay toe-to-toe with the Daemon Princes he bosses around (like Dhar'leth). Thraka is a tough mofo likely able to take on the likes of Calgar or a Hive Tyrant, but not Abaddon.

Here's the deal; Abbadon has failed everything he's tried. He has 0% wins.
Thraka, on the other hand, like very other ork, beats the laws of physics itself on a regular basis with just belief that it will work. As someone once noted, the Orks have TTGL Spiral Power. Thraka just asks that you believe in the him who believes in you.
