Michaels in Ontario does have it but it was 10 bucks more for the same size!!! Either order it from Currys (go to their website they have a few stores across Ontario) or make sure you go to flyerland.ca and print yourself off a 40% off coupon for Michaels!!!

nice tutorial! i think im going to have to use this but i got a question (if not a challenge) for you.
how would you go about making bases that have streams tainted with warpstone? (im starting a skaven army and want to put alot of time and effort into making it very nice looking and thought this would make a nice touch)

Thanks for your comments. Guys, I don't get paid for this hobby, I have no financial interests whatsoever (No, I am not a youtube partner with revenue sharing . I do however "get paid" when guys use one of my tutorials and let me know if it helped them! If you do use any techniques or methods, I do appreciate if you guys mention my youtube channel on any internet forums regarding wargaming or modelling.
I have no doubt you get alot of OOOHSS and AHHHHS at your local game store because this technique that I have shown, I have never seen elsewhere. I can honestly say that it took me a couple attempts with different products to get this to look like this. I have to believe that somewhere else in the world someone has done something like this, but I did not find anything on using resin as ice while I did a brief search on youtube or google.
Thanks again for sharing your pics and showing us just HOW WELL you did!!

I've done the rocks, and the water/ice effect with some terrain, things in pools, in dungeons, and the like...just the connection didn't click with basing and combining them all until I saw your original Njal post. Then there was the eureka moment, and many thanks to you for it.
Already got the best done HQ in the upcoming tournament thanks to this...and if I can get the rest done, I'm gonna have the sharpest looking army

I used this tutorial to make some bases for my Mr. Dandy TW cavalry. They came out really nice. The only really tough part is 'wrapping' the base. mine ended up really uneven so I had to trim it a lot. The pics are in my gallery (pardon the odd warm tinge, they're actually painted with a much cooler scheme.)
