Hi all,
recently I've fallen in love with the little balls of hate known as Daleks, and what with the new Necron codex coming out and all I figured the time was right for the lords of Skaro to invade the 40k galaxy.
I'm busy converting the Necron dex to suit the Dalek needs. It's taking a lot of research to find all those different unit types, especially the characters, but I think I'm mostly there.
This is where I am right now (if any Doctor Who buffs want to help out, I'd be grateful):
Overlord - Emperor Dalek
Lord - Supreme Controller Dalek
Cryptek - Supreme Machinator Dalek
Warrior - Drone Dalek
Immortal - Special Weapons Dalek - Standard Battle Type
Lychguard - Robospacemarines
Deathmark - Special Weapons Dalek - Special Operations Type
Flayed One - Varga Plant
Praetorian - Slyther
Stalker - Dalek Strider
C'Tan Shard - Nightmare Child
Tomb Blade - ?
Destroyer - Transolar Disk
Canoptek Wraith - Spider Dalek
Canoptek Scarab - Robomen
Canoptek Spyder - ?
Monolith - Dalek Exterminator
Doomsday Ark - ?
Annihilation Barge - Dalek Death Wheel
Doom Scythe - Special Weapons Dalek - Airborne Type
Night Scythe - Dalek Shuttle
Command Barge - Dalek Victory Pulpit
Ghost Ark - Dalek Crawler
Imotekh the Stormlord - Zolfian, War Minister of Skaro
Illuminor Szeras - Davros, Dalek Progenitor
Orikan the Diviner - Dalek X
Trazyn the Infinite - Eternal Dalek
Nemesor Zahndrekh - Emperor Dalek
Vargard Obyron - Black Dalek
Anrakyr the Traveller - Yarvelling, Chief Scientist
Anyway, pic time!
This is what the Emperor delivered to my mailbox this morning
Emperor!
What I'm planning to turn into my Exterminators (Monoliths), two cheap Taiwanese vinyl R2-D2's
And this is the first of my Standard Battle Type Special Weapons Daleks (Immortals)
The problem is, my bit box is big, but not so big that I have 10 terminator assault cannons lying around. Anyone have any left over?

Brilliant idea and I want to know the source as well? Might be worth checking Black Tree Design for some variety as well.

He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. They came free with an issue of Doctor Who magazine in the UK, can't remember what issue unfortunately.
EDIT: It was "Doctor Who Adventures" issue 170 (June 2010)

These guys pop up on ebay every once in a while. I believe they're a BBC promotional item. EDIT: what he said.
@Llamahead: Yeah I've been looking at BTD, but I decided against going with them (for the rank and file daleks at least) because of the cost. Those are €23,50 for 7 daleks, these were €18,- for 17 Daleks. I will probably get some special stuff from them though, such as the type 3 Emperor.

Meanwhile, these guys are going to be put 3 to a 40mm base and used as Scarabs. Herds of brainwashed robomen with short-range corrosive beams strapped to their heads being driven towards the enemy armour.
I know their 'shaking your hand' 'look at me with my hand under my chin thinking hard' poses are a bit silly on the battlefield. But I think it fits with Robomen. They don't have a clue what's going on .

Thanks for the comments everyone. The first two squads of Drones should be done soon. Only 912 sense globes to paint blue. Hmm, sounds worse when I say it like that.
Yes Sontarans are awesome, but I'm afraid that would be another project. I don't really want to add any Dalek 'allies' as those alliances tend to be rather temporary. So the only non-Daleks I'll include are slaves or beasts (Robomen, Slythers, Varga Plants)

Hi all,
I'm not dead! In fact, I recently graduated and am now a swanky Bachelor of Design. Expect lots of Daleky updates soon.
Now, I decided I might as well make this blog my blog for everything, rather than just Daleks. This so it will get updated more regularly and so that my hordes of adoring fans will find everything mine in one handy place. You're welcome hordes!
Well then; the introductory picture of another project I'm starting at this moment:
edit: also, this was supposed to be my 500th post, but apparently I didn't pay attention and accidentally hit it. So, 501, yay!

Dalek updates in a few days. For now the test models of an eldar commission for Thom.
I really like the polished marble bases. I've been walking around with the idea for some time but this finally gave me an excuse to do it.
