Mine was killing Abaddon the Despoiler in a single phase with a Captain with a lightening claw

I charged a squad of 7 sisters of battle (celestians), who had no power weapons or wargear besides bolters, with 5 assault terminators.

By the end of 3 assault phases, the 5 remaining sisters of battle were escorting my last terminator off the board as he fled for his life.

6 IG stormtroopers (old codex, basically Carapace Vets now) get charged by a squad of Chaos Possessed with Rending.

A couple rounds later the IG Stormtroopers stand upon the broken bodies of the possessed Chaos Space Marines in glorious victory and promptly run for cover to hide in.

Hive tyrant goes to crush my termies after I foolishly charge them despite no SS, except he fails cos I roll triple 6 for my invunerables I promptly squished him to death

I had a unit of 15 Termagaunts charged by 6 fiends of Slaanesh. The Fiends managed to whiff everything, causing only 1 one non rending wound, which I saved. I then managed to wipe out his unit. I was pretty Awestruck.

Have 2 unsupported gaunts being charged by 20 gaunts through a fortress of redemption and winning combat.

Having Abaddon charge into my swarmlord, rolling for about 10 attacks and then promptly rolling 8 2's.

Charging genestealers into combat with a tactical squad and getting 15 rends

Necron Warrior shrugging off during the course of the game-

3 las cannons to the face,
Lysanders Thunder Hammer
and to top it off, a demolisher round.
(Yeah, he got killed every turn, in most phases and STILL got back up)

And he still kept that objective

Other than that, had 5 pink horrors happy slap 2 paladins to death

My DE army put roughly 30 poisoned shots, 2-4 lance shots, 4 Hex Rifle shots and 1 haywire blaster shot into a lone Obliterator for 3 turns, and it took it all. Passed about 15 5+ invuns and roughly 50 regular 2ups...

Thing just would not die.

On my side - madde 16 6+ invunerable saves in a row once.

I once played my IG vs. a buddy's tyranids, and around... turn 2 or 3 of the game, I had moved at cruising speed with all of my Chimeras and disembarked all of my troops to get orders off and shoot down his monstrous creatures. All of my orders failed my shooting was woefullly ineffective on account of some bad rolling. The most hilarious part though is that come his turn, he charges all across the board with gants but rolls horribly, inflicting minimal casualties, while I proceed to hand his ass to him in combat with nothing more than veterans and a command squad. It never happened again lol

A squad of 5 pink horrors vs a trygon in CC. The trygon (unsurprisingly) had the assault. Tzeentch must have really liked those horrors, because they went 4 rounds without taking a single wound and put two on the trygon.

In fantasy 5th edition.

A unit of 10 Skavenslaves held off a Chaos lord and some knights for most of a game. The skavenslaves didn't have a chance of killing any of the knights, but the chaos knights kept fumbling all their attacks and could hardly kill any of the slaves. After about two turns the slaves broke, somehow out ran the knights so that they could not be charged down, but then rolled snake-eyes for their Ld test and immediately turned around and charged the knights!!

30 points of troops held up about 600 points of chaos for 3-4 turns.

years ago (so not sure on the stats back then... 2nd edition)... had a single eldar scout that somehow had a 5++ save (don't remember the equipment from way back then) last 3+ rounds in CC with a Bloodthirster!!

The game ended with him still alive and that Bloodthirster only killed the 4ish other scouts in the squad of the plucky little survivor... I was high for a few weeks whenever I went back to the FLGS and they were all still talking about it.

A year ago I sold a new player on the awesomeness of TH/SS terms... just to see him roll 6 1's on 8 saves on Turn 1 when some Ork lootas opened up on the squad of 7.

Rolled 9 ones and a two on a TH/SS term squad attacking a Wraithlord in CC. (HOW DID THEY MISS THE THING?)

Had a normal IG sarge kill Wazdakka by taking his final wound with a las-pistol.

My Ultramarine scouts killed a Dire Avenger squad with bolt pistols, one shotgun, and a heavy bolter.

My Buddies havocs all missed their shots except for his ML. He rolled a 6 to hit, 6 for armor pen scoring a glancing, 6 for damage for Vehicle Destroyed, Coup de Grace style.

Lucky rolls, always such a buzzkill on the first turn.

I had my wolf Lord on a thundermout get attacked by my cousins monolith(every weapon), death Ray (both guns), the war walker thing with the big melta, and 20 rapid fire warriors. Didn't take A single wound n then next turn I got him stuck in with the warriors and got killed after atleast 4 rounds of combat leaving like 1 or 2 warriors left lol that whole game was a whiff for me but watching the vast majority of his 2000pt army shoot at me and watch my Lord just absolutely love it we both laughed for a long time lol

Tau vs. Space Marines, 1000 pts.... two flukes actually (in the same game, some funky dice rolling on both sides):

1. A full squad of firewarriors rapid fired a squad of tac. marines... 24 shots.... I rolled nothin but 1s and 3s to hit... not a single shot landed....

2. I tabled my opponents army using only a Hammerhead and a squad of Vespids. And by Hammerhead and a squad of Vespids, I mean an immobile Hammerhead, and a strain leader (everything else was killed). By turn 2 most of my army was dead, save for the hammerhead and the at the time untouched squad of vespids (5 plus strainleader). The Vespids took down a squad of devestators, 2 tac marine squads, a deep striking command squad. The hammerhead ate a whirlwind, a predator, a rhino, and a dreadnought. By the end of the game, the only thing that was left of the vespids was the lone strain leader, who actually managed to kill off my opponents space marine commander in one-on-one close combat. Since then, I've been a faithful follower of the vespid way (though they have never performed to that level again, and I acknowledge that it was a MAJOR fluke).

Hahahaha wooo! Go vespids! Lol tho I only took em once n they got obliterated right before my kroot did because they are faster lol

Two scouts finished off a wounded Demon Prince when the Demon prince assaulted into my scouts that were in area terrain.

The scouts scored two wounds, he only saved one and he died.

On the flip side, I assaulted my friends Plague marine unit of seven marines with my Furioso Dreadnought with Dual Blood Talons, I killed six of his marines, since I struck first, and his champion with a power fist hit once, rolled a 6 to penetrate my AV13, and rolled another 6 exploding my dread. I wounded his champion with the ensuing explosion, and he faild both his armor save and his FNP, so we both were totally wiped out by that one combat.

Unit of Broadsides killed a Bloodthirster in one round of shooting (one of them fired their plasma instead of their railgun)

Ork warboss with PK and a unit of nobz runs through...broodlord...2 carnifexes...hive tyrant with guard...and a zoanthrope ^^

1 Death Guard Aspiring champ (in 3rd edition) w/ no defensive gear soaking up roughly 600 points of tau fire, then proceeding to charge and merrily wade through about 200 points over a couple turns.

Having a blood angels player assult me with his assult marines,( I was playin IG) he fumbeld his rolls and only killed one, nine guardsmen struck back leaving nine dead marines.

A Daemon Prince and a Carnifex went at it in H2H. For 5 assault phases. Both were landing plenty of hits, but for whatever reason, neither could wound the other. I can only imagine that however ineffective the combat was on the table, it would have looked fething EPIC on the battlefield.

Right? Lol if you could have played that combat out in like a movie that would be sooooooo epic to see

After every single unit except for my Reclusiarch had been wiped out by AT weapons (Note: most of this was Death Company) He was assaulted by a Captain with a Relic Blade and assault squad with Thunder Hammer. After being stabbed by said Relic Blade once and smashed twice in the face by a Thunder Hammer Twice I then proceeded to roll 5s and 6s for all of my invunerables (One fail would have ID me)

3rd edition...

Broodlord (i think that is what is was called) charged my command squad with a heroic senor officer. Only half his attacks connect, three wounds and I have only my refractor field to protect me...

5,5,6

Passed all three! Attack back; all attacks hit, all attacks wound, power weapon. killed the Broodlord in one round of combat the turn he charged!

Epic!

That time my Crisis team destroyed an entire tac squad in CC, in one turn, with only one wound.

Last game I played I deep striked 3 10 man Assault Marine squads next to some boys against Ork Kan Wall. The Kans couldn't assault, but I shot the boys so there were only about 15 left in the squad. Next turn I get multi assaulted with all 3 squads. The Ork Squad also had a Warboss. I win combat and sweeping advance.

I used the SW Power living lightning on a squad of 10 grots. Statistics show I should have wiped it.

I rolled 3 1's.
