Alright, so a while back I bought a big, big box of shiny stuff. Frankly, a lot of it was Chaos, and older Chaos at that. Most of it seems to be around the start of Third Edition 40k, at least given the Codexes in the box, although some of it may be older than that. Frankly, the only reason I know some of the stuff is because a lot of it still comes with the original packaging.

Well, I don't play Chaos. Although I am kinda tempted, given things like an Old Metal Bloodthrister and the always awesome Doomrider, so I'll be selling most of this off. Some of it, however, I simply don't know what it is. I'm stumped. That why I turn to you, Dakka, in the hope you can tell me what I got so I can work out a fair price for it. Overview. The only one I recognize is the metal Daemon Prince with wings.

From what I can see/know/remember:

1. They look like old-style hydras to me.

2. Don't know

3. Old style plague bearers - looks like musician and standard bearer

4. Old style bloodletters command group

They must be too small for Hydras, surely? Unless they are from Warmaster...

Just noticed the claw type arms on them. That suggests something Slaanesh.

Oh, this isn't the whole thing - only what I couldn't ID. Although there certainly doesn't seem to be a whole army.

Alright then. Pricing wise I'd say you'd get a few pounds for each of them. The demand for them probably isn't that high (unless your into the sculpting style of that period...ie drunk), so I wouldn't count on making a fortune on them. Just hope you didn't spend too much on them, but its all valid to play with these days in both 40k and fantasy.

Just a correction: That's not just a Beastlord and Warhound, it's Khazrak One-eye and Redmaw, his unique Warhound that no longer has rules.

The old chaos spawn are a hard sell. I couldnt even move them at 4.99 apiece. You will see the most money from the plaguebearers, which can still fetch close to what their actual retail value is.

I'm not too fussed. I bought the whole box for a hundred, and it includes some stuff I'm keeping - some Bretonnian Knights, and entirely NIB Fantasy Fortress, stuff like that. This is just me selling off what I don't need for the holidays, and because my wife is giving me the Eye.

Also, can someone tell me what this is? I forgot to ask.

That is a long OOP 'Khazrak the One-Eyed' beastman special character, and his accompanying chaos warhound 'RedMaw', look him up in lexicanum/old codeci for fluff

The elfy dude is Aenur shade of twilight, came free with a WD IIRC (used to happen a lot back in the day, not so much now...)

Thanks for the confirmation. I've put this lot, with some other bits, up for sale now so we'll see how things go.
