As the title implies what are you hoping that Santa will be bringing you on 25 December...

To start us off, here's my (short) list:

My main 'present' is a 1:16 Heng Long Tiger tank - fully functioning with smoke, sound and fires bb bullets ! Also went for the upgraded metal tracks and gearbox - a snip at £100 - Santa WILL be delivering this on Christmas Morning and it WILL be fully charged - YAY ! - the kids will NOT be allowed to touch it (maybe)...

Why is this gaming related I hear you cry - well my mate has one of these and we are going to have them tearing up the garden in mock tank battles and possibly shooting local cats...

Also on my list is;

Vallejo Model Air -basic colours large paint set (so I can finally use the airbrush I bought in February this year !)

Bolt Action WW2 German 88mm FLAK 36 with crew (x2) - Needed this for a game I'm planning and is without doubt the best on the market in 28mm scale - unfortunately Santa wont be bringing this unless my wife is psychic as I forgot to order it...

What I really want is the boxed set of "Tales of the Gold Monkey" to help inspire my pulp fiction campaign set in the far east.

Those tanks are awesome by the way, used to work in a shop that sold them. You can guess what the staff used to get up to at lunchtimes

My list, possibility of a lump of coal notwithstanding:
- Plastic soldier company infantry and some peter pig tanks for a new late war German FoW force
- Some Mantic Forge Fathers, ready as a counts as Space Marine army for 40j. Dwarves in Space will be making a comeback to the tabletop.
- Infinity stuff (probably Combined Army)
- Possibly that new Tomorrow's War rulebook.

I really need to get out more

I wouldn't mind Super Dungeon Explore but that won't be until after Xmas when the UK web sellers get it back in stock.

I guess next on the list are some more Brushfire warbands (Vandalands and Mare Civitas - maybe some extra blisters as well seeing as I will have to order from the US)

Also, I have the Blackwater Gulch and Carnevale rulebooks arriving soon so I need to think about creating a Wild West town set-up as well as recreating 18th Century Venice using cardstock terrain.

My brother has got me a FW renegade artillery crew, my best mate has bought me a thudd gun for the said crew (or the other way round lol), another friend has given me a load of old chaos marines he no longer wants, I've asked for the plastic soldier company panzer IV kit from the folks and the fantastic better half has got me a King Tiger for FoW

I'm a lucky boy this year!!!

Oh and me and the girlfriend are gonna fire up Carnivale at some point over the christmas period

I won't be bored for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time yet

OP, those garden tank battles sound fantastic.

I bought the Imperial Sector box as well as a battlemat, so my xmas period is gonna be concerned with finally having a proper gaming set-up to play 40k at my place

In a fairytale land, what I would LOVE for xmas is an announcement from GW that codex CSM was imminent. But thats pretty remote

Skyrim. I've been wanting to play it for weeks, but my girlfriend was, erm, thoughtful enough to buy it for me first. Of course it's a Christmas gift, so for now...I wait...and wait...and wait...

Wargaming-related: I'd really like an airbrush. I doubt I'll get one, but I'll most likely buy one myself if not. Too many unpainted vehicles!

Let me see, i will not get this on christmass, but my "buy list" now includes: one Dark Eldar Raider, 2 Kabalyte Warriors Squads, 1 Ravager, 1 Incubi Squad, 1 Hellion Squad, 1 Scourges Squad and a Talos Pain Engine... If Santa Bring any of those i will be pretty happy

No models for me though, a brand new modelling set with loads of paints, a new set of brushes, files, clippers, glue etc

Much more usefull than models as my current modelling gear is just dire (i havn't had any new stuff bar the odd paint for 3 years)

Last purchase for my existing army for a while will be the Contemptor Dreadnought. I just got the Imperial Armor Apoc second edition, so I'm debating how to kit mine out.

When I buy it an IA11, I'll be done for a while.

2013 will be the year of the Chaos Legion. 2012 is the year of finish painting my crap. And no buying more crap until this is done.

Does such a collection of awesome exist? I remember watching it allot but have no memory of it beyond the plane!

Me i'll be getting WHFB8th, a box of terminators, The mines of moria game and the Eavy metal brush kit. I picked that lot up for 40% off and the Mrs has confiscated it on the count that I have made it too hard to get me a presen. Which sucks as i really want Tomorrow's War and IA11 now and will get castrated if I now buy it myself! What to do?

I'd like to get a space marine stormraven, but I need to get gargoyles for my older girls Tyranids army. Most likely though, with how tight money is, Ill get neither for now.

On the plus side, we have DECADES worth of mini's and terrain that need built/painted, so 2012 may be a great year of catching up LOL....
