Ugh, this is hard. How are you supposed to work anything out from vote counts?

I'm feeling super noobish right now - anyone got any tips on patterns to look out for or anything like that? I feel like I'm groping around in the dark here :-/

I'm focusing on the people I found suspicious on the first day, and going over what they said. Trying to keep tabs on everyone would be to much work. I think that's what everyone else is doing.

The Archon sounds like godfather. Turns up innocent on investigation.

Before anyone comments about me switching randomly from not_u to Arheiner, I haven't, since not_u explained himself thoroughly and I admitted I was posting quickly and without thought yesterday.

I believe 6 votes are needed for a lynch, so the Dark Kin can't bandwagon and doing something that obvious on Day 2 would be ridiculous.

At this stage I'm very worried about the way things are going. Two loyal Eldar have died for nothing, we have to be proactive now in our deeds, while keeping our minds open.

I've read everything that has been written so far, and everything you have claimed to be evidence against Shas'O has been nothing but circumstantial. Based upon the kind of poster he is in every other thread it makes very little sense, since if he had been given a role with any extra amusement built in, he would have acted completely differently to the "I don't care if I survive the first day" attitude he's had.

If you actually reread what I said, I said that for the FIRST PART of Day 2, we should do clean slate and talk, then we should start linking back to the previous Day's talk. And I also said I didn't know if this was a good plan, it was just an idea I had.

Tell me then, is voting against someone who keeps making a load of statements with no evidence suspicious? Vulkan comes in every now and then with some kind of roadblock post and never explains it. All game this has been happening, and then I get jumped on for finding that suspicious. Something isn't right here and I think I know which one of us it is.

If you think he's guilty why not show him? That's the only reason I'm not chosing a side between what seems to be the day 2 showdown.

That said, Arheiner's logic against Vulkan is more substantial than Vulkan's.... has he even made a counter claim?

Maybe it came out slightly wrong, but he continually offers an opinion and hasn't backed anything up, doesn't reply when asked about it and only comes on for another opinion, making him very lazy or a *censored by inquisition* stupid Dark Kin.

While I'm not saying Vulkan is not Dark Kin, I feel this is another Shas'O witch hunt. We have another player who is temperamental and young (if he's taking Yr 8 exams that makes him around 12-13) and gets caught up in the flow of things. He barely posts and likes to mess around. When youngsters have an exciting role they post and get involved, enjoy the intrigue. When there's nothing to do, they lose interest.

I'm really short on time at the moment so I can't look back through 14 pages of posts, but I'm going to spend some time investigating Arheiner again and checking my ideas before I decide to change my mind. For now I see an angry person in his posting, and using emotions is a great way to get people to come onto your side to get people lynched.

On the contrary, Vulkan is a well versed Mafia Game player, so unlike Vulkan he should know by now not to act like he is. Either he is a REALLY slow learner, or he's purposefully trying to play the 'too-young-to-know' card.

How old are you, Bishop? I'm going to guess 17 (like me) or lower , and yet you're catching on with this pretty quickly. (That =ed a compliment, BTW.

No, seriously though If we're going to have our own little trial then shouldn't we wait for the defendant to actually show up? Otherwise the best we can do is add useful speculation in his defense, which will actually help him explain everything away if he IS a Dark Kin.

I'm in no rush to push a lynch. It's late, schools tommorow, the Easter holidays are near...I can wait.

I just hope he gets a chance to properly explain himself before time runs out.

To be fair to Vulkan, his posting on the site in general is pretty limited - if you look at his recent post count, there's only one or two that aren't on this thread. It's possible that he genuinely doesn't have much time to read this over in depth or post very often at the moment, which would also explain his apparent following of the crowd.

Still, I'd love to hear word from the man himself...
