Nicely done! I agree with cormadepanda... the more smashed up and re-assembled looking an ork is, the better.

Looks very nice. Even with the very thin legs Your additions to the arms are great, and I love your assault cannon.

Only thing I would say is, flamer barrel could be drilled, and a little turquoise wash on any brass bits.

Can't wait to see whats next?

Looks great! Great photos too. Well done.

The Assault Gun is fantastic and the weathering looks great. Adding the wash suggested above will put it over the top!

That's a spectacular build mate... and I don't think the paint job is bad at all (understatement). Odd base for a 40k figure, but if it's a display piece it doesn't matter.

Don't tell me they have rules on bases as well

should of said with the photo's, i re-did the base, as i wasn't happy with the one i did with it.

40k uses round bases. oval monster base is what that awesome dork knight would use. The base is bigger, and gets you in assults easier. But for display it is sexy. I love it and things it awesome even the big ass gun.

Yes i made that from scratch, just using plastic tubes and card, also some 40k model bits, i love it to, i will copy this gun for another model i'm thinking of doing.

Well done, I like the fact that you've got the motor on the front for turning the ammo, and the firing pin at the back. Those details really make it stand out!!

I think the "rule of cool" will cover you on the base... but yes, there are actual rules about base use as variation from the norm can give figures certain advantages.

Looks fantastic Wazzoo! Everything looks great. If you planned on using it in a game, I hope you can find a solution to the base issue.

I just picked up one of the Ork Bommer kits as well. Actually, it was an early Father's Day present. I feel loved.

I also thought about some conversions. I thought of combining it with a couple of LandSpeeders to get two or three Bommers out of one Ork kit. We'll see. Use of Land Speeders as looted Bommers would fit with my DeffSkullz clan, but the base Ork kit is awesome too.
