Is there a cheaper place and better place to get paints and washes from, I only use GW so I'm a compleat n00b when it comes to paint.

I hear good things about the Vallajeo Model Colour paint range. I've seen a rack filled with their paints and there's easily 2 times the colour variety, not to mention all the differnt paint types they have. Off the top of my head they carry clear paints for blood/water effects, as well as thinners and flow changers. All of the paint bottles also come with dropper tops, so you can control paint mixing and thinning drop-by-drop.

Found them, just ordered a pack of medieval paints, 16 of them in the pack, will let you guys know what I think

If you have a Boyes store near you (cheap supermarket store ) they sell them quite cheap and some of the sets

Is there a similar seller in Australia? I've only found them in hobby shops, the closest of which is 40min by train.

i know there are going to be loads of photo's of the bombers coming out soon, so i thought i best do some myself, these are not converted in any way, they are as god intended them to be. i think the models are the best think GW have do, so they don't need converting just yet.

I like the paint job to look rough as if the orks them self have done it, I see paint jobs on dakkadakka all the time and there to perfect for my liking, and some people ever class a model as finished with out any dirt on it, now I don't get that, so if your like me a basic painter, then abit of mud and wash makes it look well kool

The paintjob on the flyer looks really nice, i like the checks. Maybe I should use more checks myself....

Wazoo! Man that is badass! I am most impressed by how small you got your checkerboard! Strangely, I too am painting my Dakkajet similarly, but I am having a hard enough time with much bigger checks

The touch-up is never ending, and then when I think I have it, I notice something else crooked

i want you to choose your Fav/best bit of this model, i love this model, it was so much fun to build and paint, the hole truck and trailer comes apart for easy transport.

This is a great model. I love the little tank destroyed tally on the inside of the gun emplacement.
