here you go guys, got a deathdread thingy, thought it needed to be converted, so made it so haha, hope you all like.

tell me what you think, i'm still not sure about the base, but i love the lean it give the model, was trying to make it look like it was stepping into a trench.

It's very lanky, but I think that it suits it. I also love the assault cannon. Maybe if you put a guardsman underneath it, cowering in horror, it might make it more believable that it is a trench. Other wise it looks awesome

I love it, but the legs need to be beefed up a bit. There's just too little structure there to believable support what's above. Some extra armor at the least to give it the impression of being more massive in the legs.

Well, if the Mek told them the legs would hold the body up, it would right?
But I like it all! The legs do look rickety, but I like it.

I love the spindly legs. It has a cartoony touch to it, which I think works with Orks.

thanks guys for all your comments on this model, but i will say, the legs are staying, i think there fine, i might add some more armour plates on them, maybe, but not much, i love the look on this one. i got the model coz some one asked me to do a commission on one of these guys, so i wanted to see what i would come up with, to be honest, there is not much you can do with this model, it is how ever a good bits box model, lots of weapons and bits and bobs.

Well wazzoo, I'm slowly running out of phrases to express how I awesome I find your work..... theres just so much to admire!

As everything you do, that dred is great! But I think the deff dred model looks too hunched. Have you ever thought about putting a head on it?
I did that on mine:

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

yeah i thought about a different head, but i was only trying to convert it a little using a small amount of time and plastic card, anyway i like the head thats on it, and lets face it, you get so many bits with this model that you can do 3 different heads from them before you have to make your own.

I know you have plenty of options for the face, but no actual head. The face is on the torso, wich annoyed me, so I built an actual head.....

anyway, I love that scratchbuilt gatling gun, mate! It rocks!

Yes, but don't you find that the face is on the torso as to keep in with the ork look and feel if you raise it above the torso it no longer has that much of an ork feel.

But thats just my opinion, looking at orks their head is lower than their shoulders.

looks awesome, although i agree that the legs need beefing up a bit, maybe liturally just some scrap metal put on or some trophys or somehting. but anyway really like the trench base, very cool. keep up the good work.

The assault cannon is awesome. How do you cut your tube? The really thin bits that go around the exaust for example.

not sure which bits you on about, but most of the time i use a sharp knife and roll the tube and put the knife of the tube and try to keep it as straight as i can, of use a razor saw from GW or any good hobby supplier
