Meh, it's okay, just doesn't really "pop", and painting it ended up being a bit of a chore. Bad news, since one of my future month's goals will be a unit of 3 2-armed ones to make a "killa kans" unit

I guess some of that is going yellow with red rather than the other way around. Also metal claws instead of red. They used an awful lot of red in those old RT ork models, didn't they?

Hey guys - I've started to "fill in" February's finished pics in the OP. If the people with gigantic images could shrink them down a tad it would be great. Also, if you're one of the many people who somehow manage to finish reams of figures and stretch goals, I'll wait until you post an end-of-month pic that would (hopefully) combine as much as possible into one smaller, more manageable image for the OP.

Here are my DS Footpads/LOTR Corsairs. All that's left now is my Ranger, Gang Leader and Manticores.

Those look suitably thuggish. You're gonna have to give us a 'project in review' photo one of these days, you've knocked out a lot.

Yeah, I'll be doing the whole lot together once I finish the final 4. That'll be 40 minis for this month, which is pretty good. I did have a week off in the middle of it though!

I gotta get ahead of myself because I'm getting married in the summer and taking a honeymoon to Iceland (hopefully!) so I gotta count two months pretty much as dead painting wise, and I still want to reach 366 minis for the year.

I'd love to go to Iceland, it's definitely on my list

Well my Tudor polyshades died. Replacement is a couple of weeks out. Gonna try ghost tint brown on my orcling base so I can get them finished.

Whoop! The ghost tint brown is a touch darker than the minwax was but it's close enough. By the time I got the grass and models on there I can't really tell too easily. So that's the month's goal done.

I've got almost enough Orclings to cover another regiment base like that, so I may knock one of those together sooner than later though no promises for this month.

Finished a bunch of Spore Mines. Still plugging away at the Trygon & Carnifex, but at least these guys represent some concrete progress.

Azazelx, what is a humongous picture roughly, in KB/pixels?

I'm still using a ten year old 4 mega-pixel camera so I've probably nothing to worry about...?

Uh... if you can get the picture size down to about 400-600 pixels wide, then it's about perfect for posting here. You should be able to resize pretty easily in whatever free paint program comes with whichever computer you're using.

You guys are kicking some serious arse with the painting - both numbers and quality. I'm seemingly barely able to finish more than a handful of models each month now, My YTD total is massively inflated by a bunch of jersey barrier scenery I've been working on 10-20 at a time as a side project after work. (40 done so far)

Nice Al Gore squads going on there. Are they environmentally friendly too? I need to get off my duff and paint. I've picked up more models this month than I've painted . I'll have some time either tomorrow morning or tuesday morning depending on how I decide to work my part time gig this week.

Nice space mans there, I like the spot colors.

Lovely work on those orclings- they look fantastic. The more I see of GoA, the more I like, too.






From top to bottom - Descent Manticores for Dungeon Journal, D'n'D and Descent, a scale shot for Theo, Splinterfist the Gang Leader (actually a villain from Descent), a Human Ranger with rifle and my finished Feb Pledge.

Might try for some more descent odds and ends as a stretch goal for myself, and next month move on to Wrath of Ashardalon.

Don't really have any terrain goal this month but got some done today none the less. Hoping to do more before the end of the month.

No painting here but lots of assembly. Got almost all my medge built: just one angel to go. I'm thinking about how to convert it to look different from the other one. Photos to follow.

Almost finished enough figures to complete a troop of archers for my Gondor KoW force. Hopefully one night this week!

So, quick update as I've started on some epic necrons instead.
Want atleast one unit (6 bases) with a monolith transport done.
2 lots would be nice though.

Building immortals, destroyers, wraiths and some tomb spiders at the moment aswell.

I got my third stretch goal finished: the Beagle Tracker, Steffen Myles.

Those epic Necrons are superb

And that beagle is awesome too - The colours are exactly right to my eye, well done!

I haven't done all that much recently but I have knocked out a couple of objective markers. Not the best of pics but I don't have access to natural light at the moment, at home at least



A Freebooter Kaptain rapidly running out of Boyz, A well timed rescue would earn a nice discount (or his teef horde if he doesn't cooperate).



A Deathskull Stompa whose crew are now extra crispy. My Bigmeks are even now coming up with Kunnin Planz to mount the Supagun onto my Bad Ork Bikeboys Warbike.
