I started this little guy a few days ago. Got some hours in on him, and hope to resume this weekend. It's my first go at "full-on" NMM, as I have usually reserved it for more conservative application. Anyway, I hope you like it thus far.

Pic no worky

Ugh...this happens to me with Dakka Dakka every time. My pictures work on the other 11 sites I post to, but not this one. I always have to do something different for this one site.

I'll try to get it fixed shortly.

Also, why do people always baby-talk the "pic no worky" bit?

Yes, the imbedded pic doesn't work, but clicking on the file link broken button works..

Gotta say it's looking very good so far, great attempt at NMM... Looking forward to seeing more

Baby talk!?!?! That, sir, is a prime example of Techno-jargon!....Maybe....Actually, I don't know why people say it like that. That's just how it's always been done, as far back as our people can remember

That's a great question...I've always used a 3rd party site because it works everywhere else, I guess.

I am using one I've been comfortable with for a long time, so I think I'll stick with it. I don't see why I need to make a special exception for Dakka, but I appreciate the hard sales pitch you are making.

Because your images don't work. Your Sanguinor is great and I just thought you might want more people to see your hard work.

Sorry I've been away for so long. I had some family issues that required my attention. Since you aren't here for my life story, I present you with a few updates to Mr. Sanguinor. I did some work on the wings (of which there are many on this figure).

Sorry I don't have photos of any details up-close. I currently don't have a camera capable of focusing at such close proximity.

Next, I plan to work on the backpack, the sword, the red shoulder pads, and perhaps the small details around the model, if there's time. Enjoy!

Great work! The NMM looks very convincing

The wings were just a progression through various greys. Astronomicon Grey, Space Wolves Grey, or even Codex would work. I made sure not to go all the way through to white, and saved that only for the very edges/tips of the wings.

There was a wash in the early stages as well.
