Hey guys, I am in a tourney in a few weeks and need to come up with a way to make a DIY narthecieum from my existing bits. I currently have leftovers from tactical, assault, devastator, and templar upgrade kits. My current thought is to take a powerfist and add a chainblade cut in half on the bottom. I know it will look like a chainfist, but it is the best I can think of now. Any suggestions?

If its just for a tourny just get a normal marine and put a red cross sticker on it, should pass the rules.

That what I thought but this is fairly strict WYSIWYG and he does have a narthecieum :(

Powerfist + short length of rod + GS.
I have done this myself even if I did go a bit OTT on it.

What does the Exalted option do? No bloody idea but it sounds good.

I would get a chainsword and cut it off at the handle while leaving the motor intact, Glue that onto a regular marine arm. Glue on a bolt pistol or laspistol if you have to simulate the reductor. and in some GS tubes and vials and it should look about right.

Either greenstuff a large pouch onto him, or paint up one of the long ones you get with a tactical squad as a medical pack. Coupled with the white armour and a bolt pistol and chainsword, he's obviously an apothecary. Remember they can't *not* have a Narthecium. Nobody will complain.

Yeah, some sort of pouch or techy box shape (from whatever's in your bits box), either on his forearm or replacing one of his weapons.

For my terminator apothecary, I used a chainfist (so powerfist and chainsword), and added the front half of a spare missile glued to a leftover melta bomb.

The bit behind it is half of a radar dish.

Model a doctor's reflector on his helmet. Everyone knows what those are and associates them with doctors...

I believe one of the missiles on the set of 3 missiles from the devastator's missile launcher looks somewhat like a syringe, or can easily be made to. That could come in handy either on the fist or somewhere else on the model.

Seriously, they probably ought to have special helmets - something with extra/special eye sensors? A few marine helmets are like that, so would be a good choice for an apothecary model.
