Hey guys,

I ordered a Landraider conversion kit from Chapter House, it was shipped on the 02/02/12 First Class international which is over a month ago now and not seen a peep of it. For those of you in the UK who have ordered from Chapter House how long does it roughly take?

Cheers

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...

A month doesn't sound too long from our colonial friends, normally my parcels turn up around 2-6 weeks after posting (pretty much the same when going the other direction as well).

Your parcel could be sitting in customs though, depending on the value of the item you may have to pay an import tax AND a processing fee to get it released. HMRC will eventually notify you if they have it, but don't be surprised if it takes time - not sure if you can contact them, but should be some info online?

Or it might just be sitting with your local Post Office sorting centre so worth a call to them...

I'd also say get in contact with Nick from CH - he posts on the N&R forum with regular product updates - http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/120/431763.page. He should be able to give you some clarity on whether the parcel is tracked or what the resolution is if it goes missing.

Good luck, hope you get it soon - and post your finished pics of the LR !!

I recently had to wait 3 and a half weeks for a swap trade from the States to show up - sometimes it takes a while as stated above.

I do a fair bit of shipping to and from the states and airmail normally takes 1 week, 2 at absolute max.

I find it bizarre how random the handling fees and even the customs charges can be, its almost as if they roll dice to calculate it.
