With some support from Corvus Belli in the form of promotional goodies (blisters, badges, posters) to hand out to intro game players, I'm happy to announce that the Infinity Roadshow will be taking place this Summer.

So what is the roadshow? I'll be visiting each venue with a purpose-built urban Infinity table and intro forces from different factions, running a series of intro games and advice/tactics/Q&A sessions. I'll also have a wide variety of Infinity blister packs and Micro Art Studio items for sale.

The first four dates are:

Saturday 5th May, Legionary Show, Exeter
10am-4pm, intro games running across the day.

Thursday 10th May, Cut and Thrust Games, Bristol
6-10pm, intro and advanced games all evening.

Saturday 12th May, Cut and Thrust Games, Bristol
10am-5pm, intro games and advice sessions running across the day.

Sunday 20th May, Iron Haven Games, Exeter
10:30am-5pm, intro games and advice sessions running across the day.

With more venues awaiting confirmation.

So if you have an interest in Infinity and are in the area, make sure to drop in at one of the events!

If you know any other potential players in the area, make sure to 'encourage' them to come along as well.

OK I will try and get a couple of people to come along with me!

A couple of questions:
- Will there actually be any Infinity stock available to buy on the day (at Cut & Thrust specifically) ?
- What kind of points value of stuff should I bring?

I'd love to extend it further across the country but travel costs are the main limitation at the moment.

:(

P.S. Look out for the olive-green banner, coming soon to a venue near you!

Very cool. If you can make it to somewhere nearish to Cirencester (Gloucester / Cheltenham / Swindon) on the weekend of 25/26 May, I should be in the area, and will certainly drop in.

I shall likely be having a rest on that weekend.

A reminder that the first event is this Saturday at Legionary in Exeter. Doors open to the public at 10am, the first intro game will start around 10:30 with several games over the day.

I'll have Infinity blisters/boxes/books in stock along with Micro Art Studio items including individual tokens.

Just as long as that Anti-PanO banner is not on display I'll be happy!

I'll definitely be there tonight having my first intro game, before deciding that I was correct and Knights are obviously the way to go!

Knights? OK, time to get out the dastardly Nomad Hackers.

Last night went well at Cut and Thrust, several rounds of enthusiastic intro players and a bunch of passing gamers showing an interest.

In the meantime, a report from Legionary last Saturday including some previews from Warmill:

Thanks a lot for running the intro game today IJW really enjoyed it! Definitely cleared a few things about the rules up for me, and it's now convinced me to get some Ariadna after they were showing off their bullet-proof wind breakers in that game

Pacific, were you the Nomad player in that game? I was the Ariadna player and i'm also starting Ariadna after that game (to go with my PanO). Great game to watch and be involved in, especially when the Female Kazak outshot a Dormau Chain rifle! Still a bit dubious of Doctor Death though.....

I was playing the Aridna (I think it was around 12ish in the afternoon?), perhaps you were playing in another game?

That's hilarious if you managed to outshoot a Domaru with chainrifle as well, exactly the same thing happened in my game! I was so lucky my lineman with rifle (the L'Oreal 'because I'm worth it' posed mini ^^) shrugged off multiple shots and gunned down the Domaru

The female Line Kazak did rather well all through, but it was Pacific's game that went really nuts, she took 3-4 Chain Rifle hits without blinking, and gunned down the Domaru while doing so...

It must have been in a different game - I played on Thursday night! Very spooky that the same situation happened involving the same models. (For bonus points, did your shootout occur on a rooftop??!) Thats why I assumed you were playing in my game.
