Also, I don't think chopped up My Little Pony would be good for a dog's health, plastic toys aren't the most digestible of foods.

Plastic chewy ponies are excellent for doggie entertainment. Rusty the tank has destoryed plastic toys in less than 8 seconds. I'd give him ten for a pony of moderate size.

I think the important question is though, would ponies with multi tinted hair be considered some form of animal abuse? Whats do you have against the natural of you know - REAL ponies?
Having said that horses are dumber than a box of rocks. Are Little Ponies smarter than your average horse? Can you ride a magic pony? Would riding a magic pony be likewise be considered a form of animal abuse?

Whats fun about the OT is that threads are not an exclusive club. I am following the forum rules for being on topic (discussing little ponies and friendship is magic); and not being rude in my posts. I apologize if that disturbs you, but dem's da rules. After all, without those rtules in place, other posters could hammer bronies for intruding on their threads, and that is silly.

Now, back to the topic. Why exactly do they have non-natural colors again? How do my little pony marines relate to the epic Angry Cow marines of 3rd edition?

Why? Its not supportable on an evolutionary basis. Purple and gentle pastels don't work well against a pack of killer wiener dogs. Speaking of, how do they survive against roving packs of killer wiener dogs? If their defensive power is "friendship" then they're truly done for. Wiener dogs are epically crotchety and unfriendly. Maybe they survive on numbers - producing more bronies than wiener dogs can eat in a given period of time? Anyhow, as the discussion was going, I think that although Wieners are voracious predators, the ponies of Equestria have long guarded their borders. They do fight off an army of Changelings in the season 2 finale for example. The magic of friendship is really about the power they can get from each other's qualities. The Elements of Harmony for example, are a Magic weapon which can only be wielded by the avatars of each aspect of friendship; Loyalty, Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Laughter and Magic. With the Elements, the main cast have managed todefeat a chaos god, and the dark side of one of their rulers.

Ponies are totally an example of evolution. Anything they can't fend off with the adorableness that theyve perfected thru the generations, they deal with via extremely powerful magic. One unicorn was single hoofedly able to defeat an Ursa Minor, aka a bear bigger than your house. Another was able to defeat a pack of Diamond Dogs, a good parallel to your weenies, with the sheer power of her whining.

I don't know how they're going to work spike getting wings, or in fact the way dragons grow. As we saw in Secret of my Excess, dragons grow with greed, but no wings throughout that growth. They may instead be based on age.
And Scootaloo flying... Didn't a lot of fans have the idea that she had some flight disability or something similar? I wonder if this'll make a few fan-fics obsolete...

Spike had wings in season 1, they were just very small and he couldn't fly with them

yeah it'll be interesting, I think it was because scoot has smaller wings than normal :? maybe it'll be a generic *overcoming your disabilities* style episode :3 as for spike.......I have no ideas XD

Faust has said the reason Scoots can't fly is that she simply hasn't figured it out yet. And for Spike I'll just go with Greed Growth does not equal normal aging and growth.
