My first GW purchases in the sadly defunct GW Beckenham store (S.E. London) were the box sets; Harboth's Orc Archers & Rugluds Armoured Orcs. I loved those figures, but especially Ruglud and his boys. I use other handles elsewhere but fancied something 40k for Dakka Dakka, unfortunately I never really played much 40k so thought 'what the hell' and went for Ruglud instead. TBH, was really surprised that it was available.

hmm, well element was just something that kinda stuck with me. I used to skateboard in middle/highschool --when I set up my first hotmail account all those years ago, I chose to go with element because I was wearing the skate shirt at the time (skateboard brand). It has acquired some meaning since that time because I became a huge fanatic of biology and chemistry....a pharmacology major. the 206 is the area code where I grew up, one of the prettiest city in America -- the Emerald city, Sea-town -- Seattle

I chose Daedalus because he was the legendary engineer of the Labyrinth of King Minos, and I fancy myself a bit of an engineer. Plus the concept of your own skilled hands being responsible for the prison in which you are to languish, and then escaping through further application of your trade is strangely intriguing to me.

I picked ReardenPro as my handle because I am a huge Ayn Rand fan, and Hank Rearden was my favourite character in Atlas Shrugged (although I like Howard Roark more).

That, and he is totally pro, inventing a new metal and sleeping with Dagny (that slut) and whatnot. He shot some guys too, and that was pretty cool.

Well, for me, i use Conservationist for a couple of forums. In fact i dont even know why i chose the name, iirc i could have been sitting down one day watching Nat Geo and i got the name, been using it since.

Took to it after if become me default DnD character build, druid specializing in fire magic. Of cause I'd always take a tiger as well.

My other one is "Kael" name of my first character on an RP site, so I go with that if something wants a name.

I am in the Navy, and used the initials of my name.

Well, my name is Sil. And one day someone called me sillyboy and since then everybody is calling me that. Except for some girls who keep calling me silly.

I like EARTH, and I love Beards. But it came about from a very, very late nioght conversation of rubbing mud all into my beard, and murmuring earthbeard over and over again, a distinct lack of sleep could've been involved.

Well it was my Xbox account name, now its just a fun activity for the whole family!

I used the name I created for my Chapter Chaplain for an online game. But because of its length, the inevitable shortening occurred and I got stuck with 'Doc'. But Doc is always taken early in every game and forum ever made, so I changed the word slightly and huzzah!

It comes from Fallout 3. (Chainsaw wielding, Hockey mask wearing, Fallout 3 addict).

I play it on PS3, I can't remember how many things you have to kill to be granted the trophy of "Lord Of Death Mountain" but when the name / trophy came up on the screen I found it hilarious. It is so juvenile and lame that I couldn't resist it.

Well Melkhiordarkblade is a mix of two awesome Elves.

Melkhior was an elf wizard(later was found to actually be a dragon) in the Teen Titans anime.

And Darkblade comes from Malus Darkblade,who I'm sure you all know about from the Warhammer book series.

I've always used Melkhior as my name in role-playing games,and I felt he needed a last name.
Darkblade was all I could think of.

In world of warcraft i tried to figure a feminine name for my troll warrior. First i came up with Umea (which sucks imo when you look at it) but thank god it was taken. Then i i added L and it became my loved Lumea (now lvl 80 warrior) . Then one of my friends started to call me Lumppu (sluttish insult name in finnish) and it kinda stuck. Now my profile name everywhere is Lumea/Lumppu or something like that. Even IRL everyone calls me Lumppu.

When I started online gaming a few years back I was sword_boy because of my fasination with swords then quickly came to other childish names and now, 14 and I have started playing 40k and my first army is Imperial Guard.
