Yeah I'd say it was IW as well it’s so technologically advanced I can't think of any other legion that could build one.

Totally got rid of the baby cradle, and started building up the armour. The DP shoulder pad works nicely as a hood, Lamys terminators gave me that idea

Alot more work to do, the front peice will be lower, and I want to try to put vents down the sides where the gaps are. Then we can start adding arrows, spikes, and chains

Since this is going to be for Chaos chapter, you might want to fill in the "Aegis" and "Terra" and other inscriptions with greenstuff. Otherwise they'll look out of place.

It looks amazing tipos! The only thing I see that makes me look twice (and I've seen other people get chewed out for

) is the upside down writing under the head. Asided form that it looks great! I can't believe how well it all works together! I amy just have to go back and snap some bits off my dreadknight to ditch the baby carrier too.

@tony_nids - thanks, yeah the baby carrier is the only thing I don't like about the dreadknight. That and the fact it dosn't come with missile launchers

Today I got a ven dread plasma cannon in da post, it looks much better than the sentinal one.

That CDK/CDL looks pretty sick! I'm not sure if you've mentioned it but are you going to do anything with the legs? like add defiler leg plates?

The armour on the front is looking really good, much better than the carrier bits.

I've got defiler bitz to try on the legs, but I have not got down to them yet. I like the original leg plates, so might not change them, just add chains and spikes

@giraffex - Thanks mate!! Still got a long way to go before the amour is finished, but I'm very happy with the way it's going

I don't think it fits.

Ok, I've used defiler leg spikes on the shoulders and ankles, added smoke launchers and a banner like my IW dread.

and I think I've got the final pieces for the front

Wow. Dreadlord looks absolutely amazing. AMAZING.
The guns*, the armour, the chaos image are all awesome! I really love the addition of the horn on the head too!
Can't wait to see him painted up also; gonna be freakin' awesome(er)!

*I admit however, I'm not sold on the Cocket Launcher however...

You must be feeling quite smug and pleased with yourself right now as the DL looks awesome! I'd go without the defiler leg plates, stick to what you have on the other leg. Ass cannon - well they wont be sneaking up on you will they? (I'd keep it for novelties sake) Amazing stuff - keep it up

It looks good, but I have to ask, how does the Defiler leg plate not fit? Is it too large or small? Personally I like it better than the one on the other leg... maybe you could trim it to fit?

Other than that it just needs some arrows and if you're going to paint it up in Iron warriors colors, maybe some cog work...
