@dave: Actually thats one thing ive learnt in my recent forays into sculpting. Be patient! Its really hard, but makes everything so much easier.

Well you didnt have long to wait....

Nearly done now, just the hips/pelvis to do and some more crafting on the hammer, then i can glue the servo arms on.

That's one unique looking Space Marine... I like it!
I'm interested to see how it will turn out when painted.

Looking good, I'd consider also thickening out the waist a little, though that could be done with pouches etc. Can you position a couple of pads on the shoulder just so we can see the breadth there? Generally awesome, mind.

Yeah that leg armor is coming out great, it's the perfect style. I would also consider doing something cool with the helmet, like add a special grille and bionic eyes or something, since its the focal point.

So this is the final stretch. I appreciate you're all probably a little bored of this by now, so this'll be the last update before the final assembled pic.

I added waist/hip armour, just need to bulk up the pelvis. Also gave him a bionic eye and techy grill, as suggested by meade. Hammer is very nearly done, needs lots of wires and then its just cleaning up the left bionic arm and glueing the servo arms! Hope you like.






edit: note the hammer head is not glued, thats why it looks wonky.

Yeah I'm totally going to copy that and do some true scale iron hands or something. I got my watch parts and everything cant wait to see him with servo arms... and don't forget mechadendrites... he is a son of medusa after all. Probably an ugly fellow too.

everything's perfect except you might want to bulk up those thighs... not sure if you're done with that yet though. The feet look so cool and well done it would be a shame not to continue that work up the leg.

Looking great mate. Only niggle is maybe run a bit of wire from the back/side of the lens?

Damn fine work good Sir... only little thing, in last pic the hammer head looks a bit wonky.. other than that impressive stuff! For the legs maybe you could add some of those Terminator shield bits that they normally have around the hip/thigh area, that should bulk them up a bit... or maybe instead a large honour scroll hanging down the middle like a loincloth?

Is the going to have shoulder pads? if so any ideas on them?

Shoulder pads aye. They'll probably just be normal ones, with som icons ofc. Open to suggestions though.
