Unfortunately MANZ still count as double transport capacity so 10 Boyz, 5 bustas, and 3 MANZ would put you at one over.

Not much different. Tankbustas and lootas a little more, burnas less.

Lobbas more, tractor kannon less, i thing.

painboyz less, meks more (for some reason.)

Pretty much the 7e codex without mob rule, st4, durable (and expensive) vehicles and 8e rules.

This boy is happy.

Meganobz got a huge point drop, but it looks like gretchin will be super expensive now because a runtherd is 26 points for some reason, meaning gretchin squads are going to be 56 points minumum. If this is really how they come there's pretty much no reason to field them over orks. I really hope the runtherd is just included or something.

Some new weapons, here. Kopta rokkits might just be that you have to pay points on deffkoptas, which would be awful. We also got "rack of rokkits" so that sounds fun, whatever it is. I'm not sure if kustom shoota is a weapon but it sounds new. Tellyport mega-blasta also sounds new.

Might be getting more shooty options.

What is a skorcha!?
Maybe I'm reading wrong but right above stompa it looks like skorchas arr a unit type (up to 5 in a squad), I'm curious what this is)
Maybe it's a nob type unit? A vehicle?

Thanks Vitali. A kustom shoota is a TL shoota I think. An Assault 4 shoota. That's what the megaboss has.

The Meganobz might need to buy their weapons, which could increase their cost dramatically.

This is just speculation, but the Runtherd might be a character instead of part of squad. So it might be that you only have to buy one and it can manage a whole mob of 30 grots rather than having to buy three runherds. It might also be possible to put one runtherd in the middle of multiple mobs, so a person could get really crazy and maybe only have one runtherd and over 100 gretchin, but that seems like it would be really vulnerable to sniping.

A person might not need to purchase a runtherd at all, but that seems like a good way to lose all the grots to battleshock. It would make it a little easier for people to run fluffy Rebel Grots. Since there is a <Clan> keyword we might get a Rebel Grots clan down the road that mitigates their leadership problems. (Yeah, that probably won't happen, but I can dream!)

I'm not sure what the profile will be like, but maybe the Rack of Rokkits is what comes on the Warbuggy model?

I think that Tellyport Mega-Blasta comes on the Wazbom Blastajet.

SM power fists are 20 points. I don't really see klaws being cheaper, so basic MANZ would be slightly more expensive but get the extra wound. Too bad about the kombi prices though.

I think that's 45 points total for a meganob. Yeah, I'll pay 5 points for an extra wound. We'll have to see if the TL Shoota costs anything. If a TL shoota is the kustom shoota, that brings MANz to 49 points total. That's acceptable.

Agreed. 3 wounds and very little "ap2" anymore, plus striking first unless charged...though I can't think of too many things that would charge meganobz...

I'm really happy about Strength 4 boyz.

The Killkannon doesn't seem that great, but I think I might just be underestimating ordinance weapons in this edition. The Killkannon wasn't that great last edition, but I was hoping it would be awesome this edition because I really like the idea of gigantic ork kannons.

No option for eavy armor on the boyz, which raises the question.......how good are 6+ saves actually going to be? Are we looking at mandatory painboyz/trukks for every list? Trukks are quite costly in this edition it seems, and painboyz are still only a 6+ FNP. I'm just not seeing how our boyz last long running up the field.

Are attack squigs no longer a thing? Because I really liked modeling them. With bomb squigs being their own model now they could be really fun.

No looted wagons *shakes fist angrily* I mean what in the name of gork and mork are you doing GW?

They might just have 'Ard Boyz as a separate unit.

We also don't seem to have a Krak profile for Stikkbombz. Maybe they are going to bring back Stikk Bommaz as a unit? Probably not, I'm guessing we just don't have them.

I'm guessing that the Ork Wargear section just didn't get leaked, otherwise we'll also have no 'Eavy Armor, Bosspoles, Cybork Bodies or Runts.

So, did you note that you can field 6 bomb squigs with a unit of 15 tank bustas?

And that they do not blow up when they melee, but still hit on 2+?
And that you can remove them as casualties instead of tank bustaz?

Footslogging hordes just got a new unit, I'd say.

The Bomb Squiz also look to hit on a 2+ even if they are targeting a character instead of a tank. Paired with Da Jump a suicide squad of Tanbustas could probably do a lot of damage after being teleported behind enemy lines.

This has probably been mentioned already, but it looks like Da Jump can be used on a unit that is locked in combat. Good way to rescue a shooty squad or keep MANz from getting tarpitted.

So based on our limited information is it looking like it's better to keep Battlewagons bare bones with maybe a Deff Rolla?

I've always loved the bomb squigs but the new ones seem brutal!!! Now they can threat armor 2+ and they cause D6 wounds, not to mention that large units of tankbustas can have more than 3 and now that vehicles are tougher I expect max bomb squigs every time. A unit of 10 can have 4 and a full unit of 15 even 6 bomb squigs.

It also seems that models with jump pack can now be embarked on transport. Not sure about the usefulness though.

It's 5+ to touch though, so it will not deal that much damage.

I'm not sure. We can all but guess about how long a battlewagon sticks around in an average game, which really makes or breaks the battle tank config for us. As it can move 12" and fire all weapons at whatever the best target is, anything between a full dakka loadout and bare bones might be viable. What also helps is that removing open topped has close to no downside for most ork passengers.

We also got Thrakka now:

Deff rolla get +3 on to hit, so its 2+

Deff Rolla adds +3 to hit rolls, so it seems like it is going to be a really good option to take (depending on points).

Can Battlewagons shoot their weapons when enemies are within 1" of them? If not, then I don't see much point in loading up on weapons in addition to a Deff Rolla.

I just realized that Thrakka has 6 S12 AP-3 attacks on the charge that hit on 2+ which deal 3 damage each. Not much is going to survive that, he even wounds most characters on 2+ and all vehicles on 3+.

His +1A bubble is also pretty awesome.

I'm a bit disappointed with Ghaz - not in sense that he's weak or something, nope - he's pretty good - but that his special rules feel dry and dull. He can be easilly run amidst footslogging boyz though. He's tough enough to withstand sniper fire and 6-attack 3-damage pk hitting on 2+ is nice. He'll be wrecking mc left and right. Oh, and he finally has a twin-shoota.
