Tables looking great, nice and practical. I would be tempted to paint rather than varnish.

Alright got some time this weekend and knocked out the second board section and the shelves. Man... Shelves were kind of a bear to push back into place but its all done yay. Just need to clean the small part of the room you can't see in the picture and get some kind of rug or carpet down for creature comfort and greater ease of sliding the tables around (with those little furniture slider pad things).

Need to get back on the paint wagon so I can populate the new storage.

Those shelves look rock solid. I still envy you and your dedicated hobby space.

That's a great looking hobby space. Although your cat doesn't seem to approve it's walking out, presumably in disgust!

Great looking table space you have now . You and your mates won't have to go hang out at the library to play now, and it will make a great get away from the kids when you need to call a time out on yourself.

Thanks guys. I just hope those shelves will fit all of the terrain I hope to be making. The TNT board will fill a shelf by itself. And the BS city scenery will probably eat up a lot of the top one.

Getting there! Need more of each kind of terrain and I have plans for so much more besides.

Included below is s bad shot of z mostly finished reaper dragon turtle. Also have a mawbeast from dungeon saga mostly done, trying to get that orc/goblin archer unit worked on for May completion. Went with what I hope is a tawny/lionish look. Orcs and goblins to follow at some point maybe.

Cool turtle, you could us it as a counts as giant or as a slasher in your Orc KOW army too

Yep that's in the works. I have a couple extra boar riders so if I chase down a spare overlarge axe I think I can pull off a lower ranked krudger on slasher. I have giants from that old whfb two giants and a druid box that I want to paint eventually so slasher makes more sense.

Envious of that gaming space Grim. Thats a lot of storage but it looks like you have more than enough stuff to fill it up.

Sorry folks been better than a week. Just been keeping busy. No painting (unless you count some minor touchup work around the house) but I have been doing some building. Battlezones. Most of it occurred today . I've had time to chuck a few photos to Facebook but haven't gotten around to uploading here. Will do soon. Probably finish the bulk of it first.

Also got my MM shipment so I'll show you all the updated infinity shame drawers (yes its two now...). Got some alkemy dudes too and they look quite nice in resin for the pittance I paid. Got a TNT barbarian themed tribal warband almost built.

Yes, please share some Battlezones photos so I can copy, er, admire them.

So I got the majority of my big factory done. Needs some gantries added on a couple of walls. Not all over, just enough to cover a couple of tanks/vats/whatever. Obviously there will be a bunch of stuff on the floor but I'm waiting for my deadzone2 because it will provide excellent factory bits and bobs. Logs and lots of rubble too. Better than 80% of the roof is collapsed so that will leave a mess.

But I digress, the interior has a ways to go but the main building is virtually finished.

When I do the rest of the board sections I intend to make a couple that are mostly empty but for long crumbling walls such that I can socket them in between the factory walls to make it a larger yet more broken factory. I'll probably include the two current 6*6" redbrick as a sales office and maybe a diner.

Eventually I'll probably make enough spare tiles to run the board without the factory, just as a wasteland or city outskirts. Anyway photo:

This has been so entertaining even in spite of some of the annoying things about battlezones that I fully expect some sci-fi builds soon.

You must be new around here, since when do we do "smaller" terrain? Is smaller even a word?

I like bitty scenery pieces. Plus thrxway clips go in mantic battlezones you need twice as many angles as straights.

Now the tiles need texturing and whatever bits and bobs of broken cars and roadside detritus I want to permanently affix to the them. I'll probably leave the roads themselves a least partially clear. The cheap plastic cars really need to be sunk into the ground and the mars attacks Crashed cars have their own bit of rubble (if necessary) around them so no need to fix them to the board forever. But I'll want something here and there along the roadside for cover and accent.

Also got my DZ:Infestation kickstarter rewards. Missing one metal figure though I need to do a count and make sure I'm not missing any duplicates of anything etc. Not too bad though, and I wasn't last in the queue for once

The industrial scenery is amazeballs and I love it. Large chunks of it will be living in the factory I've been working on...perfect timing. Some of the figures may get eaten up by TNT. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 50 space dwarfs. I only purposefully ordered 40 of them, the others were included with my pledge...and they were only a dollar a piece but still. That's a lot of space dorfs.
