After the command squad DDRE. Which I'll be delivering in 2 days. Then I will be on "the purge" till they are complete. No commissions till I'm done is what will motivate me.

Only 1 video right now. I just taped me basing a model trying to see if I could get details and optimal viewer angle so you can see what I'm doing, and also seeing if I could paint with a camera close to my face while constantly checking the LCD so I know the model is still in frame. I'll be doing tutorials after my army is done. Everything from beginner tips to start-finish models.

My army should take about 3 weeks to finish then I'll be building up content for my site, with video tutorials and written ones also.

Thanks, your stuff as always is fantastic, I really do like the Guardsmen the officer is sublime.

From what I took away from looking at the pictures, the only thing that stands out as out of place/rather odd is the grinder impliment at the chest, I think the issue with it is the lack of head, I wouldn't give up on it, its a fantastic piece of modelling but maybe a couple of suggestions that may make it look more complete.

Either:

A) Give it a head, I havent had time to see the thing from the start so I assume you didn't want to give it one, however you could do that and then add either something like body parts/soulfire/combination of both or some other daemonic filth to make it look like the center of that infernal engine of chaos

or B) Just sculpt a head over where the grinder implement is, however you may end up with something that look likes the Hunchback of Notre Dam's ginger stepchild, but being that its Nurgle I don't think that would be much of a problem

I will do my best to read through the posts fully again and see what problems you came across, but hopefully this had given you some food for thought.

@99MDeery - Thanx for the advice. It is much appreciated. I lack the luxury of having someone to brainstorm with when I have crazy ideas and this helps.

The defiler is sitting outside on time-out lol. I tore the grinder out and made fleshy folds and where the grinder once was is a nondescript hole. I thought of making a head about where the hole is like you said and just make his muscle continue down his back. But I think the mistake was making him without a plan. I'll mess with him later but I just need to paint for a bit so I don't lose my control.
