That's...interesting. I hope by then you'll be able to provide an adequate explanation for your voting habits.
@BishopGore- I hear about the similarities between hunting Vulkan and hunting Shas'o. That said, leaving them alone because they could be young could rather easily allow them to slip by. Being new at this game is, in my incredibly biased opinion, not an adequate defence in the slightest.
@the_ferret- I am going to continue to spell ferret the correct way. Also, you seem rather quick to throw votes around. First you accuse me, then back down (granted, you never had any proof or even a reasonable suspicion). Then you jump onto Vulkan? Rather curious, especially after being so critical of my involvement in shas'o's death.
I have three primary suspect as Dark Kin. This is rather fortuitous as their are three of those wretched denizens of Commorragh among us (plus any other assorted nasties that Drk_O saw fit to grace us with). My first suspect is our very own the_ferret. He seems rather hyper-active today, both in voting and in post counts. That said, I suspect him the least.
My second suspect is of course, Vulkan. That said, as soon as we can get some decent dialogue out of him, I'll willingly relinquish my doubts for the time being.
The one that I am most certain is a dark kin is a master of grief, a tyrant of sorrow, a patron of misery, a commander of...Lord-Loss. Early yesterday (I mean in game of course), Lord-Loss was quick to bring the newer players up to speed. Especially about the RSV stage. Consistently, Lord-Loss has harped about the RSV stage. About how you cannot read into them. They are random after all. Yet, something happened yesterday. Lord-Loss actually accused Shas'o based on his vote during the RSV stage. In previous games, I've observed multiple people vote for the same person and Lord-Loss let it slide by, yet yesterday, Lord-Loss pounced on it like a life-line. Unfortunately, shas'o was innocent, but that did not assuage our fears at the time. Several votes piled onto shas'o, votes the flighty fool was unable to shake off. Except for one. Lord-Loss. Lord-Loss quietly hopped off the wagon of his own creation. Now, that would make sense if Lord-Loss had made some horrible realization about what he had just done. Yet, that was not the case. Lord-Loss was absolutely ambivalent about shas'o's impending lynch.
Now, we reach today. Now, Lord-Loss is doing his best to keep the votes from flying around now. This gives me several ideas. Firstly, Vulkan is a dark kin and LL is trying to protect the yoof. Alternatively, LL is trying to keep the votes from letting Vulkan off the hook. Let yesterday repeat itself if you will. Or, LL is trying to rebuild his persona as a reasonable, methodical civvy. Of course, if he is innocent, why was he not more vocal in protecting shas'o?

Hang on, you say your prime suspect is the_ferret, then you go on a tirade about LL and vote for him?
You yourself were hardly vocal in Shas'o's defence. I think that may arguements had made Lord Loss somewhat hesitant. However, I don't know if that was his plan all along, or if he really did realize that Shas'o was innocent.
Personally, I wasn't entirely sure about Shas'o's innocence even until the end, but I wanted to avoid lynching a new player first thing becuase...I'm nice like that. (And becuase *cough* I'd done the same thing with the_ferret)

Because before I didn't recognise how a vote in the RVS could be evidence or make someone seem suspicous.... I err... learnt something. I probally wouldn't have picked up on it but EF brought it to everyone's attention.
Lord-Loss quietly hopped off the wagon of his own creation.
At the time when I unvoted Shas I still felt suspicous of him. But he was on L-2, which was two close for my liking, so I unvoted and I think I included in my "Unvote post" that I still find Shas suspicous, I just want to try and prevent an early lynch. Let's not forget that you too were suspicous of Shas Rusty, as was alot of people. And I believed, based on the evidence and knowledge we had avaliable, that Shas was the right choice. He Was one of the most suspicous in the town. Though I wasn't sure by the end of Day One, I didn't vote because I didn't want to show full support of the lynching of Shas, and I though that his lynch couldn't be stopped by then. It was very close to end of the day, I think a few hours or less.
ambivalent
I achually had to google the meaning of the word.
Lord-Loss is doing his best to keep the votes from flying around now.
Trying to keep the votes from flying at the begining of Day Two, I expected people to re-think some of there accusation's after Shas's lynch, I didn't expect people to draw the line straight away.
LL is trying to rebuild his persona as a reasonable, methodical civvy
I want to clear my name and aproach Day Two with the intent to kill a Dark Kin (like I do every Day Phase)
Of course, if he is innocent, why was he not more vocal in protecting shas'o?
Because at the time, I wasn't sure whether he was a Dark Kin or not. I suspected him alot at first, but kinda changed my mind near the end.

Rusty, Rusty. I voted you because in the early hours of the morning you sounded like you were gloating. As for why my unvote was so visible? I don't like vote switching without consideration for thinking. Vulkan I had a LARGE discussion about why someone else thought he was guilty. Now if you'll excuse me I have another report to do.

@Lord Loss: OR you just didn't want to look like you were the designer behind his demise. However, since I was the one who actually got the ball rolling I can't help but wonder if Shas'o's death is STILL my fault, despite me not voting for him.
I think it's fairly certain that at least ONE of those voting for Rusty at the end of the day is a Dark Kin. The trick now is to narrow the list even further, and hopefully we'll have bagged our first Dark Kin.

For some reason though, these are only allowed in interstate games, not on the international playing field. Animal Discrimination perhaps?

Unvote: Arheiner
I retain suspicion of Arheiner, but I just don't have enough to go on to make it stick. I have strong suspicions of 2 of the people who were still voting for Shas'O at end of Day Phase 1, both Rusty and Arheiner seem likely candidates to be Dark Kin, not sure about Scarper.
Rusty's vote for Lord-Loss seems more like a tactic than an actual vote. But that might just be because I feel both are contenders for Dark Kin.
Overall I'm back to my confusion, as I am sure the Dark Kin wanted.

What do you mean that you didn't understand how a vote could be a suspicious in the RSV stage? Plus in Day Phase one you reaffirmed your belief that RVS votes are random, meaning that you completely made up a reason to explain away my accusation. All votes should be backed up with evidence (Apart from Random Votes during Random voting stage... their random. )
Regardless, it is a dangerous shift in playstyle that could hint towards trying to decieve us.
At the time when I unvoted Shas I still felt suspicous of him. But he was on L-2, which was two close for my liking, so I unvoted and I think I included in my "Unvote post" that I still find Shas suspicous, I just want to try and prevent an early lynch.
Only replying to this as I'm not sure that this is a good idea. If the Dark Kin rush lynch, they pretty much give away at least one identity. That's quite possibly more useful than anything you can really glean from those extra few days.
Let's not forget that you too were suspicous of Shas Rusty, as was alot of people. And I believed, based on the evidence and knowledge we had avaliable, that Shas was the right choice.
What does the fact that I found him suspicious have to do with anything? I'm accusing you based on a massive shift in playstyle, not solely because you voted for Shas'o. Though I wasn't sure by the end of Day One, I didn't vote because I didn't want to show full support of the lynching of Shas, and I though that his lynch couldn't be stopped by then. It was very close to end of the day, I think a few hours or less.
So, basically you didn't want to show support one way or the other. How insidiously neutral.
Because at the time, I wasn't sure whether he was a Dark Kin or not. I suspected him alot at first, but kinda changed my mind near the end.
Course, you didn't change your mind enough to defend shas'o. Just enough to watch him die.
---
Curious note. EF starts the Kill Shas'o train. LL joins. LL hops off. EF hops off in his next post. Throw this in with his out of hand dismissal of my accusations, and I think I've got a favorite for a pair of Dark Kin. Haven't the foggiest as to who the third could be however. Maybe BishopGore, with some weak crossfire between them to keep any suspicions of collusion to a minimum? Or maybe Vulkan; could explain LL shifting back to old self.

Looking back I can see how that looks suspicious. But I really hadn't planned for a lynch against Shas'o at all. I'd called him out on a bandwagon vote and suddenly we had a huge amount of votes heading his way. (No doubt one or two being Dark Kin voters) Since I realised that I was on very shaky ground concerning Shas'o, I dropped my attacks on him. However, apart from that (since it was thrown in the spotlight) no one really had much to go on. In short, I called Shas'o out on something scummy, but I never intended a lynch.

I was talking about when you vote for someone not looking at other peoples votes.
I had someone who I found suspicous In Day One, someone who I trying to get to explain themselves. There is no-one I find very suspicous in Day Two. Some people seem keen on Vulkan, I just think he's going to be another Shas, but I'll wait and see a bit before making my choice.

You were right LL, it is much quieter on Day 2.
Rusty, I'm throwing out random ideas that pop into my head, I have no real idea of who to target at the moment. With no real evidence for anyone I can't find any kind of purchase for my suspicions.
Your summary of Lord Loss I feel adds to my own summary which I created in the midst of Day 1, I can assure you that there is no form of link between LL and I, however my word is worth nothing and I have no proof beside the fact I was the only one to vote for him on Day 1 (which may be more suspicious than not).
Since it seems I can either say nothing further and appear suspiciously indecisive, vote for someone I haven't voted for before making me look wishy-washily suspicious, or return to my previous vote which may look like a bandwagon, I'm going to go for the option which puts LL in the worse position and vote for him again.
Vote: Lord-Loss
Despite all his claims that he has explained all his behaviour, I don't believe LL is an innocent member of this group. He has been inconsistent in his attacks and defenses. On Day 1 he pushed hard for people to follow his lead and then dropped back, still pushing for a lynch without voting himself. Then on Day 2 so far he has been pretty quiet, mainly commenting on other people voting too quickly as being suspicious.

Maybe he got eaten by a python at Scout camp. Oh wait, this is the UK. Um... maybe he got trodden on by a cow at scout camp and is in hospital with a broken foot.
The UK, where every dangerous animal is dead, so we only have to watch out for other people... and cows.

I said when I unvoted Shas that I would vote for him again later in the Day, If I still feel that he should be lynched. I didn't feel that way near the end of Day One and started to believe that some of him behaviour could be explained on him being a noob.
Does anyone else apart from Bishop and Rusty feel suspicous of me?

Actually just a 3 2 split. Since I unvoted Arheiner and moved to Lord-Loss.
Either the clock runs down for Vulkan or some of the quiet people actually stick their oar in. It's still all up in the air though.
