It's so obvious now! Round of applause to your missus on those vader icecream portions - it's not the first unit that i think of for measuring icecream, but it's working for me right now; "i'll have two vader-helms of vanilla and one vader-helm of chocolate please!"

House is pretty mad at the mo, with the mother visiting, Christmas and folk popping by so proper photo can't get done till next week. A shifty wee iPad teaser photo is the best I can do.

The Dakka language filter probably wouldn't allow me to accurately and express how totally fething awesome that thing looks. I very eagerly await proper pics.

With the knight all done and awaiting his shots, time to move on to other things, resin things!! First of the FW haul a the scyllax. Beautiful set of figs with loadsa options n extra bits. Can make them shooty or CC or both. Into the soapy tub they go!! Looked over all the bits and I'm damned if I can find a single air bubble. Nice one FW

Just looked the scyllax up. They are creepy awesome and I think your mechanicum colour scheme will work really well on them.

And finally - the big fella is done Finsihed him a few day's ago but just got around to taking some photos. Not 100% happy with the shots but beyond happy with how ol' 'Orphan's Wrath' turned out. Big model I've painted yet so I totally took my time on him. Loved every minute of working on him. Really allowed me to try out a ton of techniques and even come up with one or two of my own. He is fully magnetised for all weapon options/loadouts and the base is detachable as well. So chuffed with him. Hope you like him - 'The Orphan's Wrath' - piloted by the freeblade pilot Sarpedon of Tiryns.

He looks absolutely fantastic mate! I hope you are sending these pictures to the white dwarf team too.

The burns came out really well on the marble, I imagine that was no easy task to add weathering to an already busy surface. Looks amazing though.

Feels like you've been working on the knight for so long what will you do with yourself now? Haha

I'll second Bottle's suggestion to email this to the White Dwarf guys, I think you'd stand a very good chance of getting this featured!

With the knight finally all done, it's onto some more servants of the giant Cogboy in the sky! Here's where we're at. Making a Magos from bits, bobs n green stuff & have scrubbed, glued, pinned and shaped 4 scyllax guardian automata to serve as his bodyguard.

Just flipped on to see what everyone was doing before we see out the year.

OMG...that Knight...words utterly fail me . Probably your best work to date, and that is saying something. Thanks very much for showing us, and I will second the suggestion to send the pics to the White Dwarf guys, there is no way they won't feature this unless they are completely brain-dead.

That's got to be one of the best looking and well balanced paint schemes I've ever seen on a Knight, Beautiful work .
