There is always the possibility of splitting boxes with fellow dakkanauts. I for one would prefer the Nova cannon and the AA guns, so that is almost a perfect split with some people.

Mathieu I would be tempted to offer an exchange but I am going to have to wait a few months before I can get this.. too many Kickstarters that need to be paid off :/

It needs a pommel. I could never figure out why one of the Grey Knight Falchion sets doesn't have one.

Yes, longer grip could justify the huge sword being a hand and a half or two handed sword.

Mathieu cool.. if you're going to do any with flamers/incinerators, check out the link I posted about Brother Vinni's female respirator heads. I'm digging your conversions but I'm thinking after a few squads, those same Statuesque heads are going to get a little repetitive.

Yeah, I'd say that sword could probably use another 1/4" of haft and a pommel for sure.

Looks great, Mathieu - though I'll also jump on the bandwagon and agree that the sword she's holding needs a longer shaft and a head on it.

sword size on pic 1 and 3 arent bad, but pic 2 makes that sword look novelty sized

I could make it into a singing sword, to go full novelty.

Actually, that head just comes from the panzerjager set. It's the helmeted head, but since it comes with optional helmet, I just sculpted a bit of green stuff hair. And I am soooo sculpting them the Statuesque way next time: less strands, more style.

If you go for a good balance of naked heads and helmets, then you can really stretch even just one set of heads.

Those are always the parts that need more attention.

But that is an excellent conversion even if I does stop just at the brink of satisfaction.

I knew my stocking up on cheap 40k weapon bitz was a good idea! With Valkir and Mantic peacekeepers on the way, I figured weapons would be a big part of "40kifying" any conversions I did. Grabbed 40 of those falchions because while small for 40k, as you see they're large in general heheh. I do tend to prefer the look of 40k weapons if the scale matches too.

Please keep in mind that the Dreanforge bases are shorter than the GW ones. On the same bases, the Valkir is taller than GW mini.

Has anyone heard anything in regards to the mis-cast APC sprue? When I initially contacted them they said China would need to send over the replacements, and it would be wholly unsurprising if that's snarled up between CNY and the shipping situation on the west coast, but I figured I'd make sure I'm still in a holding pattern for that.

I got mine within a week or so of letting Mark know.

Although they did miss out one of the parts and had to send another package, that arrived within a similar timeframe from the notification.

First delivery was a half-sprue with 6 of the caps and the screw spacer, second deliverty was the spacer on its own.

I did ping WGF this morning and they confirmed they're still waiting on parts (owing to the reasons mentioned previously undoubtedly) and they have a list to send out which they hope will be in the next week-ish. Just figured I'd share that in case there are other people who were waiting and had kind of put that in the back of their mind like I had.

I finally got to order my boxes of support weapon (general release). Couldn't resist buying an extra box of Valkir, because why not, eh?

If anyone wants to trade support valkirs for weapons they don't want, or whatever, hit me up. (I'm specifically looking for the nova cannon ones)

Even if GW puts out a plastic set of armored women with bobs, I'm sure you'd compete with them on price and quality.

Wimples and/or hoods would be great. Or shorn heads.
