With great hesitance, I added the '4chan' tyranid rumor. I really need a link for it and am thinking about pulling it entirely.

With the way 4chan works the thread it's in will probably be deleted in a few days- a link would only be temporary.

True, and the poster was probably anonymous. Grr.

It would be interesting if 4chan ended up being more accurate than other rumor mongerers.

I probably will at this point. As I have said in other places, 4chan tends to have more leaks than other places and they are pretty reliable. Less rumors, per se.

Isn't accountability of anonymous rumor posters on 4chan work out about the same as trying to account for anonymous rumor posters from Faeit?

Yes and no.

If we consider 4chan to be the rumor monger and aggregate all of them, then 4chan becomes just like Faeit.

The difference is that Faeit (theoretically at least) has the ability to differentiate between different rumors and post or not post them as they come to him from his 'sources'. 4chan, on the other hand, just posts whatever it wants. One might argue, however, that the 4chan community would not pass along truly bad or unlikely rumors outside of 4chan, however, so that may give it the same kind of 'editorial' control.

Great, I just anthropomorphized 4chan. Just what we needed.

Moved one of the old really bad daemon rumors to mikey0987 instead of natfka. Looks like the nid stuff is shaking out his earlier predictions and they are bad.

Updates are in. I'll get all the SM rumors once I get a hold of a space marine codex.

There is no sea creature or like GIANT kit! Dark Elves getting a hybrid kit....it is a plastic monster kit which can build a Hydra "supposedly the biggest monster there" or what is called a Warbeast of Karond Kar, don't quote me on the name....its what i'd call it....
basically a monster and handler unit, with basic states, players can then pay points for upgrades, ie like +2 attacks, regen and etc...and therefore build if you want like a chimera or like basalisk or something in between, "yes something like acid blood upgrade"....no turn to stone upgrade but....think basalisk has something like that going by memory at the moment....

Just to point out that at no point did I say that WFB DE would be 2014. Dwarves have the honour of being the first 2014 WFB release.

Then I shall continue to ignore WHFB until next year.

I may still be waiting for the codex for a couple more. Unless anyone has a copy they want to lend me.

If the 40K Radio guys are right, the Dark Elves are getting 6 out of 9 non-plastic units converted. If you're a rumourmonger and you don't get more than 50 % right on this release, you aren't trying.

On that note, here are some rumours I found in my own head. Let's see what kind of score I can get:

- Dwarfs out in February-ish
- It's a hardback book and not just a miniature wave
- Book is not written by Ward (phew!)
- Artwork is a mix of old pieces and some impressive new ones
As for the models:
- plastic hammerers
- plastic ironbreakers (supposedly a variant build for the above)
- plastic slayers (great weapons and additional hand weapons)
- plastic grudge thrower
- plastic bolt thrower (again supposedly double kit)
- plastic gyrocopter w more options
- plastic flame cannon with variant build
- plastic anvil with variant build
- plastic big "monster" with multiple configurations
