Blooming heck the Crowe! You’ve been very busy building up the doggo ranks, the creative director must be pleased with your efforts.

Cheers Kid C, thanks gobert. Yes it’s been a productive month but something has stalled production slightly. (And it’s not just the end of the holidays)

It’s this,

Arrived yesterday and gaming did ensue.

Expect another full-on Hedgee’s Heroes battle report as they dive in to Doggie HQ to rescue their friend Kitty-Mitty and her Imps who are being used to power R-Mour Dog’s robots!

I better get those doggies painted!

Looks cool! If you're able to get more gaming in, I think we're all willing to make the sacrifice of not getting to see as many cool sculpts.

Tell you what, I’m loving this book. Tonight my youngest had a flick through the pages and liked the look of this double spaceship spread.

We grabbed a handful of Tau and Nid crew for each and drew up a few ship stats on a page to play a little boarding action game. It’s a really wonderful resource for sparking the imagination and using your minis in creative new ways.

They also have smaller books and big double-book packs with dungeons, castles, and steampunk themes. Highly recommended for all your tabletop RPG needs

These look fab mate, such a cool little book. I think I've seen one similar for Fantasy which I was meaning to pick up for D&D.

Looks like a cool book. I like your little rules sheet too, looks like a simple mechanism for the littles to follow

Sculpting for the kids just took a turn for the 40k!

The boy has decided he wants to build a Bad Moon Orks army!

That was an unexpected turn! I just hope the Hedgee-verse doesn't fade away now...

That is a sweet dred, BTW.

That's awesome! I hope you two are able to get a lot of battles in together
I also approve of his choice, I think ork armies are the best for encouraging creativity and scratch building.

Thanks guys. We played the boy’s first game of proper 40k today.

I say proper…

It was 5th edition, I allowed him to drive his trukk full of Tankbustas up a ramp onto a gantry. (Good driving from the squigs there) from where, perhaps predictably they succeeded in busting my tank which spectacularly exploded. Hooray!

Yes, KidC I’m a little worried about that too. Normal Hedgee service should be resumed soon, I hope, I may have to be creative in what I propose for our next game.

I love the way your dread turned out My favorite part is probably the big 'ol sword. Looking back, looks like you scratch built the sword from card?

Thanks Sy, yeah it was a just a slab of plastic sliced into the right shape and filed down to an edge, with some more pieces added on top to make the guard. I wish I’d made the handle longer but it turned out alright.

Here’s some more pictures.

Vintage BadMoons stylings and a questionable Rokkit launcher.

Grot rigger with shoota on top.

Lovely looking dread that is. I like the rather well defined eyelashes. Must have gone to L'Orkeal for that.

Terrific dread, although the missiles look almost too whimsical for Orks/Grots- someone read them bedtime stories as kids? Nice colorful touch on a great job!

That’s one awesome dread! Looks like it’ll do some damage too. The rokkits are superb, classical stylings indeed!
