Subject: The Troll Trader or Wayland Games?

Jealous that Horus is Warmaster
|
As the title states, which would you suggest I use?
I intend on buying two boxes of 20 Mantic Kings of War Ghouls, which are £12.59 on TheTrollTrader's eBay, and £11.99 on Wayland Game's site.
The total amount is for TheTrollTrader (inclusive of shipping) would be £31.83 while Wayland's would be £26.93. That's almost a $10 difference in my native currency. So I would like to come to you guys for your suggestions, and whether or not you think I should pay less for what could possibly be a delayed item (Wayland only has one in stock in their online store) or pay slightly more for a seller that I have used before.
In essence: pay less for Wayland and run the risk of delays or pay more for TTT which should have little to no delays at all.
Thanks guys

So long as you're buying in stock items with Wayland they now have really quick delivery within the UK (sorry, but that's the only experience I can speak to). When things are out of stock it used to take a while, no idea what it's like now because I stopped purchasing things not in stock.. Always had a good experience with Troll Trader, if there's only price between them I'd go for the cheaper option.

Troll trader all the way. Seriously, same day or next day dispatch in all the items I have ordered from them. Also they normally reply to any email in less than 48h.
Wayland games can be good or terrible, but even on the best cases never had my items in less than two weeks. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also check the price on http://www.thetrolltrader.com/ as it is normally cheaper than their eBay store and have free shipping internationally above £30

I vote for Troll Trader. Ordered some X-Wing stuff from their webstore and it arrived the next day.

I had one order with Wayland, they took five weeks to ship it, incomplete.
I had two order with the trolltrader, it took four days to be shipped, and arrived quickly and complete.
Take that as you want.

Troll Trader easily
When a parcel was lost before I was regularly updated on the situation and they were very good with communication
All the other experiences I've had with them (5-6 other orders) arrived within 2 days without fail and sometimes a few if ordered before say 2-3pm would come next day
Top service
-----
As for Wayland if they have stuff in stock as in it says "4 Available!" then they should be fine, it's only when it says order on way that I don't bother because from experience that's taken sometimes weeks
(Experience only in the UK so can't speak on shipping abroad)

I have nothing bad or good to say about Wayland, I've always got anything I've ordered in sensible time, but never any service I would consider spectacular. They're a solid and reliable choice, but, as others have said, can have issues with orders for items not on hand. This isn't necessarily within their control, but updates and communication is.
Troll Trader have been splendid, I enquired after an item from a range they stocked but didn't list, received a rapid response in the affirmative and it was dispatched quickly and arrived in good time. Have also ordered from their eBay and websites and blimey do they shift product out the door quick when you order it!

You are not being stupid. They don't have GW, as they used to be only a online store so GW didn't sell to them. They have now a physical store but as far as I know no intention of adding GW to their lines

We've dealt with Troll Trader four or five times, and the same with Wayland. I'd definitely pay a premium for Troll Trader.
While you can often reach a helpful person at Wayland, there's something wrong with their system, when you can order an item that's marked as in stock, and it simply doesn't arrive, without any clues as to the reason. I'm sad to say I'd never buy from them again, having discovered Dark Sphere and Troll Trader.

You may have a bit of a wait. Unsurprisingly, since the disappearance of their highest profile competitor, they've been a lot less common.

Since I discovered Troll Trader, I haven't ordered from anywhere else. I'd only consider Wayland if I was ordering something more obscure or if they were having some crazy savings holiday special or something. The only commonplace thing the Troll Trader's missing is Warlord Games, but I don't need any right now.
And before some tiresome blowhard comes in with their "you should try supporting your FLGS" line, I don't have one, thanks, and that's not uncommon in the UK.
