Well, if its not painted, its not even glued. So the non painted tanks are held together by bluetack so i can take them apart and paint the interior, And the rhino and land speeder were painted before I had any idea green stuff even existed for gap filling

You'll notice the predator has been gap filled.

As for the bastion, I dont have time (or money) to spen d using my green stuff to fill the gaps on terrain peices, sorry Green stuff isn't cheap! But I appreciate the comments!
Tho I can't really see any gaps on the bastion at all? the peice fitted together pretty well. Except for the one part is is delibertly not glued, so it can be transported easier/have models placed inside.

As for bases,

The Valk is not mine, so was based according to how my brother had already based his other Imperial guard, and the Chaos Warriors are a fast paint job, just to get them ready for the battlefield and play, they are not intended to be artistic like the blood ravens.

I can't afford the resin bases for everything

ButI do intend to paint and re flock the chaos warrior bases sometime in the distant future.

Okay, thats okay, didn't see that ^^ I know, GS isn't cheap, try milliput, if that exists over there or sculpey or stuff, thats cheaper, if you want to. The bastion only has gaps on the edges, where the parts are put together, but that isn't annoying after all

Are you still in Japan? I lived there for 18 months and went to the Jimbocho GW store in Tokyo a few times, so I know exactly what you mean. I was far less prolific of course...

My current project is my terminator assault squad.
Everyone is based coated red, and I started working on details on the first guy, about 30% finished.

This army puts my 3 compaines of space marines too shame :*(. But i do have 2-5 edition guys. I will love to see the entire army. The Paint Scheme does not put my brothers army to shame his are uber : D. But still love the army.

Comments, critques welcome. I'm trying to crank my models out a bit faster atm, getting tired of having so much unpainted on the battlefield. So I'm starting to cut a few corners with the basic infantry models!
Also this new light in my apartment sucks, and is obscuring a lot of the highlights.
My girlfriend bought a 'cool' light, and it is mucking up the photos, but hiding the bleached bone highlights, and reflecting off white really badly.

These guys are wicked bad. Loving the SS and shoulderpad on the termi.
If you're having light troubles, try pointing the light up and bouncing it down onto the models using a sheet of paper or a white ceiling. This will lessen your shadows and give you a more diffuse light.

Once again, your stuff continues to impress. There are very few SM armies that stand out among the others. Yours is definitely one of them.

My only quibble is the base on the Terminator SGT. It looks like grit on the edges and were painted over. It drew my eyes away from the outstanding work of the model itself.

My God mate. For painting less than a year, your stuff is fantastic. I still feel envious when I see your first ever models.

You certainly have a natural talent for this, I don't care how many guides you've read.

Yeah, its a resin miscast, I only noticed it on the photos. I will clean it with a model knife tonight.

I actually owe my choice of Blood Ravens to a White Dwarf of all things.

There was a spread in one of their issues of a Blood Ravens Apocalypse Army, and I was 100% committed to them after that.

If I hadn't seen it, i'd probably be painting Dark Angels or Ultra Marines.

The drop pod for my forge world venerable dreadnaught.

Any more ideas to make it look more 'venerable' than it already is, let me know.

The idea is that its been in use since before the Raven can remember, which tech priests retreiving it after ever battle, replacing the broken parts (essentially rebuilding it but keeping the same 'machine spirit') and then reusing it again for the same dreadnaught. It's like, a Holy Relic of the Blood Ravens.

Some awesome models! I wont bore you, but suffice to say, if I am even 1/10 as good as you in a year I'll be chuffed!

In regards to the Ven. Dread. I would say have some eagles, plenty of gold, some jewels if you can? Rubies would seem to be very important to the ravens so they'd be on the pod if it was a relic I would say.

I would keep it (relatively) clean. By the sounds of it it would only have the muck off its last drop, as the t-priests would clean it.

Just a couple of ideas to bear in mind, then discard .

Add a chapter icon panted on, but with really scratched paint. Put burn marks down it to show that it has been used repeatedly

I love Blood Ravens! They are first marine I've seen.
They are librarian heavy chaptor so you better have all type librarian!
My local gamesworkshop stuff using "JUMP PACK" librarian.
Its not always competitive but it looks cool.
