It will take a lot better evidence than him voting last or at the last minute to convince me that Paul is scum. Casting doubt on the last-voter is the oldest trick in the book of scum tactics. To paraphrase A_F, it could be that he knew that I knew that he knew that I knew this and it's all super-double-reverse psychology but there has got to be something more than this kind of hair-brained argument to go on, at least for me. The only thing I can suggest to do at this point is consider revealing roles. On the one hand, scum will obviously lie about this and that townies will be making targets of themselves. On the other hand, we can parse through the last few days and look for inconsistencies. I'm not saynig we should start right away: this is just one option on the table. But we really should be talking rather than just waiting to loose.

I don't know about you, but I'd like to hear a bit more from Inquisitor syphonius (and you lord of battles, and you gathering storm (A nice big informative rant from you vikingscott wouldn't hurt)). Who do you suspect? what powers do you thing scum have?
I'll just throw a obvious observation out here, just for the sake of it. This day will probably decide if we win or not. On the minus side, if we hit the wrong guy today, we will probably lose. On the plus side, the odds are more in our favour now than anytime earlier.
Manchu, Dastardly dave revealed that you targeted arctic with... something... on night two. If this was a goodie investigate ability, why would you still have voted for Arctic as last night's target? Fifty shielded him, did that stop your power?
Lord of battles, I still want to hear about your feelings on Manchu.

I don't think in my entire history on Dakka have I had a post ,ore than say 5/6 short paragraphs long. I have said my suspisions in the last few days. I have also contributed to possible role/powers.
I could rant on what else I've tried to do but why bother. That was past. We need to concentrate on the now.
I for one think that we should say our suspicions rather than throwing out a vote due to the low amount of votes needed to lynch. To me I think either Lord of Battles or Gathering Storm is likely to be scum. one or the other.
Is this long and informative and ranting enough for you?

I did not investigate A_F and do not have that power. The role I do have gave me good reasons to suspect A_F and I regret that our usual round-about arguments prevented more clarification. I am still hesitant to reveal my role while others remain silent and cast votes for ostensibly no reason.
((Also, I am changing ISPs so internet access is going to be hit-or-miss for me for a while. I keep track of this via mobile phone but it's difficult to post long, complicated arguments that way.))

Thank you Scott, it is, and thank you Manchu. I have a guess at what your power would be, but asking about it would serve little purpose... if I was right you wouldn't confirm it, if I was wrong you could use it. Too bad.
Perhaps wish I could reveal who I suspected right now, but I can't. There is noone I suspect. I don't think gathering storm is scum. He seems inexperienced, that is all. I quite sure Manchu isn't scum either, I think he has been one of the most pro town players.
We are past the point where we can vote for someone because they talk to little, but I still want to hear something from Inquisitor syphonius. He is probably just having problems with his computer, and'll check up with us soon.

The way I see it, we're in serious trouble. A truly random vote may have a good chance at hitting a scum, but there's virtually no way we can have a "truly random" vote, not collectively. As the scum to townie ration increases the ability of the "town" to pic people at random decreases in suit. Unless hard evidence comes up, I'm going to have to go with my own random pick and stick with it regardless of what anyone says.
