You know what would be interesting? And I say this purely hypothetically, as I currently believe the opposite, but what if both Arctik and Orkeosaurus are Thousand Sons, because now we need a lynch and they can vote/ accuse each other all they want, and it's hard to set up a lynch on day 1, and they can set up ground work for later on.

How can they accuse each other all they want? It seems to me that their accusations against one another are no more or less dangerous than any of our accusations against any one else? I could just as easily say that you're the heretic for thusly accusing them because it's a plot that you thought might work and then thought would work better as a plot to accuse others of trying. And then you could just accuse me of doing the same thing, with one more step, to you.

IC: Why is it called the RVS though? The way I see it it gives the false impression that the votes should be random and that usually leads everyone in circles. Initial Probing Vote Stage makes more sense in my opinion, but everyone seems to like RVS so much

Well, their accusations are no more dangerous than any of our accusations, but at the very beginning of the first dayphase, none of our accusations have very much weight, and if you think that I'm doing that, then I have nothing to say, and I guess you're just going to have to trust me

Our accusations bear upon them the weight of this planet - this world, ravaged as it is by strife - that is no less than any other for the responsibility we bear in defending it from the machinations of traitorous heretics.

Also, to answer the rules query currently being discussed - VikingScott and TherVadam are correct, if deadline is reached without there being a player receiving the required number of votes then the Day will still end and I will rule it a No Lynch situation.

Precisely like that. I trust that Thor will update us with a specific deadline (?) on his next post, as he has previously expressed a couple of different intervals for the length of day-phases. Not lynching someone is not a tradiationally viable option, as that allows the scum to target whomever they wish with no chance for us to engage with the opening phase - 'Random Voting Stage' to some, but more correctly, the 'Initial Probing Vote Stage' as N0t_u has suggested.

I have not even voted for Ulgaf (Orkeo); I have only accused him. He has failed to be objective thus far, and I cannot suppose why other than as a distraction.

If you look at the reasons behind the post and read a little deeper into it, you'll notice that there was a perfectly valid reason for my vote: the fact that the_ferret has been quite quiet so far, making only 2 posts, both of which were only 1/2 a line long.

I voted for him to get him talking.

That's what usually seems to happen Scott.
There's a few that have appeared suspicious to me, but not enough yet to need my vote. There's still 9 days left, plenty of time.

I'm waiting to see what those who have pressure votes on them do. Perhaps help out the investigation by providing more pressure on them. Of course too much and they panic leading to everyone making mistakes.

I've been wondering about one thing: Do you guys think there is a badguy role who can conceal his real votes (I have seen this ability in another game (though I wasn't participating), basicly the baddie gets to vote for whatever he wants but sends the GM a message containing his real vote. If this should be the case checking the votes will probably not be viable way to catch him.

If somebody is lynched when by all rights there should have been one more vote needed, This little nagging suspicion of mine will be confirmed.

What do you guys think, am I just being paranoid?
