The only thing I've liked out of chapterhouse are the Ymgarl heads, and even then its more of a "meh" kind of feel.
I much prefer to make my own in almost all cases where that option is available.
Theres also the fact that that spore sculpt looks just awful. And not in the way I'm looking for.

Decided I'm going to make a terrain feature for my Yumgirl Peenstealers to pop out of. Its going to utilize a lot of really unhappy guardsmen.
The dominatrix I made will likely have a nice spot within the terrain, as well as a bunch of guard in cages.
Like this guy, who I reshaped the hands on so that he is gripping the bars of a hanging cage.
The cage is made from two champagne cork wires, with just the four posts remaining. Its unglued right now so as to make the eventual painting of the guardsman easier. But you can get an idea.

I certainly wasn't suggesting you buy one, what little I have learned about Mr Doomthumbs from reading this thread, is to see something truly different simply plant the seed of an idea and see what grows

Encouraging! It does have what look like sagging genital exit holes for troops within, and thats a step towards win, but maybe just for the terrain I'll be doing later.
Thanks for the input! Definitely like the feel of that spore perhaps as the walls of terrain around a lake of ooze/ the pussywhippers Chowder linked.
But as a spore, I've always thought that that model would totally negate the special landing rules, as its just too big of a footprint.

The full over the head mask is hard to make, especially considering the odd shape of a genestealer's head. Perhaps just throw on a police hat and sunglasses, and give him assless chaps.
