Matt, I was thinking we create a mages council to conduct the control of magic, kind of like the council of nikea. This doesnt have to be your main work but I'd like you to join. We can invite strong mages into the council and train new mages or people who are interested in magic. Shall you join me?

Yeh I suppose so. I mean I already like to just randomly drop in a take out some mobs at times with magic. The End is the only real place at the moment you can go all out with EE, well avoiding the explosive stuff still so as not to wreck it.

Brilliant! The mages tower shall be on top of a volcano, I have a ton of basalt bricks so I'll get to work on it after school. Do you no where me and legions island is? If so there's a volcano there, that's where it will be. If you have an apprentice that's brilliant!

If you haven't started building yet, there's a particularly epic volcano at 269, -789. Its big enough to be seen on the map completely zoomed out, and its fairly center of the world (I didn't see signs for your island so I don't know where it is)

Hello all, I am starting out on the north west part of the map. I journeyed through the nether and across an ocean. Never played tekkit before, this should be fun!

How about a forcefield, or you could sell power to noobs

I recommend a series of forcefields, myself. Use MFSUs and glass fibre cables to channel the electricity to the cores, although you can have multiple forcefields per core, especially wit hthe range extender.

Okay I have a business proposition for some people. If you use IC2 greatly, I will have to ask. I want enough UU for a quantum set.

However, I have not the resources nor the time to set them up, I was wondering if we could do a deal with that. Swapping red matter for either a large solar array and connection to my mass fab or a quantum set

ET & ILS Enterprises ( the company me and my friend iloveserperior have created) will be growing plants as well as making food and drink products. (Cakes, Coffee and cookies!)

I've got a few stacks of the stuff lying around if you'd like it.

We have some UU, several stacks just laying around. Up to Mel in the end, but if you have some solar arrays we may need some still for the bridge project which would save some time nicely. Red matter as well.

Iustis, check the chest in our generator room. The diamond chest should at least be half full by now, but even if it isn't, it has several rows full. You need 280 UU Matter (4 stacks and 24) in total in order to make enough Iridium Ore to make a full quantum set.


Sure I authorize the trade, but you're in charge at the moment-- what it's traded FOR is up to you.

Perhaps you could trade for an agreement that he makes us a supply of bridge ingredients (at the moment, we need MV and LV solar arrays, one MV and four LV per force field tower).

is this you swapping your red matter for solar arrays, or swapping your solar arrays for red matter? because I'm in if it's the latter.

unless I wanted to nuke the mountian my base is in just to deter a door knocker, it's pretty much impossible to kill someone in full RM armour

Worth it.

The nuke wouldn't kill someone in full quantum of course, unless the quantum is irresponsibly left completely drained.

Theoretically, you could set up forcefields that contain the nuclear blast within them. I'd recommend trying it out in creative first, though.
