Dark Water is so far a departure from a game of quests to that of solo-coop skirmishing. I'm not sure why they're introducing a series of mini-codices for each
AOS faction, when Warhammer Quest is supposed to be narrative focused. The article series doesn't hurt the game but as I illustrated in my example, its not engaging with the narrative of the Jade Abby nor the progression of the characters in the core game.
I don't mind if this is what
GW wants from the series going forward, where
AOS is concerned, but I think it's best to rename it and let Warhammer Quest itself return to it's
TOW setting - where it can be itself once again.
