Here is the bracket as it sits. There was a blind draw for the matchups. The white scars, imperial fists, and salamanders have stand in's for their chapter masters as they were not cool enough to end up in game. The names will not be changed though. The iron hands and blood ravens forfit as they dont even have a cool enough captain to stand in. In their lameness they just loose. ***** LATE ADDITION SHRIKE JUST JOINED REPRESENTING THE RAVEN GUARD*****

How this will work

A roll off will decide who gets to charge first. The winner will get to shoot then assault distance of 6 needed. If the assault fails then the other will have the same oppertunity. If sucessful it will be fought like a standard challange. First character to kill their opponet 3 times alternating who gets first charge will win the round. All special rules apply and each character will use everything they can to try to win and each round those 1 time use items will be reset. Psykers are allowed their abilities but will be used as normal also characters will be given the chance to deny the witch.

Ok guys reason for the stall is simply because I dont have the new SM book and need the rules for lysander, vulkan, and khan(all stand in's for their chapter master). SO anyone willing to help that would be appreciated BUT pm me the rules DO NOT post them here.

The difference maker seemed to be Eternal warrior and not having an ap2 weapon. Results may have been different if some of those things changed.

Im predicting Draigo VS Logan in the finals. Draigo with being a psyker and having a storm shield and t5(no instant death dealt by calgar) should be able to tank calgar.

I really hope so. I just want to see Moloc and Dante taken down, and I believe Draigo and Logan are just the two craziest mofos to do it.

YES I AM FACTORING ALL CHAPTER TACTICS.

I also put khan on his bike, used dantes hit and run, ect. I am playing them each in a way to maximize their effectiveness.

Draigo is also EW but he has no ap2 weapon so calgar will get his full save. Haha.

Logan should take the whole thing pretty easily. He hits all enemies on a 3+, even those with higher WS. He should have preferred enemy every round (which means he's hitting with ~78% of his attacks and wounding with ~97%).
7 attacks the first time he swings, even if he's not charging (Living Legend + Counterattack).
2+ armor, Strength 8 AP 2 weapon, Eternal Warrior. He might be somewhat overcosted, but he's still pretty boss in a 1-on-1 fight.

Funny thing is...you can make a Wolf Lord that's almost strictly better for even cheaper. 3++ invul, Toughness 5, Strength 10 AP 2 attacks, Hammer of Wrath, and Fleet. The only thing missing is Pref. Enemy.

I know you said that you were factoring all chapter tactics, but the battle with Helbrecht doesn't seem to reflect it. Unless, for some reason you are not counting them as in a challenge, thus rendering his entire skillset worthless. I don't know Moloc all that well, so have no idea what he was up against, but rerolling all hits in close combat, and rending in these kind of battles should at least make him do something. Not win, but.. something =P

If Dante does get past Darigo he won't get past Calgar or Lysander so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Draigo is good, but Dante will get his 2+ against him and Draigo will need to use hie 3++. However Draigo will probably wound on 2s if he uses hammerhand and could ID with his force sword if Dante fails a save. This basically all comes down to how many 2+ saves can Dante make.

You're using some weird rules for Helbrecht. It's not the old rules, because he didn't get D3 attacks when charged, but it's not the new rules either as he can only get 8 attacks on the charge if he's with an Honour Guard or Command Squad with banner.

Gabriel Seth is gonna get owned hard though. Lol
Lysander vs Marneus is gonna be good though. I think Lysander will win eventually only because of the 3++.
Interesting how the initial line ups work out.
I wonder if they had been different if some people would be through.

Also would be awesome with other factions as well like swarmlord, Abbadon, eldar phoenix lords, etc.

I'm putting my money on Calgar too. The extra wounds and attacks over Lysander and Grimnar as well as Str 8, AP2 and EW makes him best as an All-Rounder and his Chapter Tactics are great.

The biggest issue is all the EW are on the same side of the bracket, so those fights are just going to be slugfests since one of the goto abilities of those EW characters is they also cause ID (high S for Calgar and Lysander, force weapon for Draigo) and unfortunately Draigo is the only one without an AP 2 weapon.

It will be funny If calgar just drops his Orbital bombardment and gets a first round kill on someone.

RIGGED You can tell because Calgar survived without nearly dying, and everyone knows that's his preferred tactic.

Well, whoever wins of Calgar and Lysander is headed to the finals, and same thing with Grimnar and Moloc. No EW on Dante means he's gone to either Calgar and Lysander, and Draigo's sword being AP3 means he might as well be trying to kill Calgar and Lysander with a wet noodle.

I saw some rules for Culln, and I'm not sure if they're outdated or not, but he had EW, so that helps him. Problem is he only had 3 wounds and a relic blade, which would be AP3, while he would be up against two guys in termie armor. Again, basically a wet noodle.

Lysander should put up a good fight. Same number of wounds as Calgar, better invuln save, but 2 fewer attacks, since Lysander only has 3 base and doesn't get another one for a matched pair.
