@WarbossDakka - I guess they kind of did eh? Not quite up to the wash stage, got to finish off all the base colours first

@Graven - Awesome, interesting tip to note here, all these metal interceptors we re-purposed from your primed ones I brought a couple of years ago from you, finally getting some paint

@Justaerin - Oh yes, the old metal models are amazing, the GK terminators are one of my favourite models GW every produced.

Update: After a relaxing weekend

(had an apocalypse game where I got to field the Warhound, boy he is a monster with shooting)
I only managed a small bit of painting, small bits of washes applied now

My favorite part of having a Titan on the field is the range of the guns. "Yeah, I'm going to shoot that thing waaaaaay over there"

A terrifying sight to behold! One of the few reasons I want a titan, just to be able to shoot anything I want to and not worry about armor values. The price and paint time is a major detractor, it'd never be finished!

On another note, those interceptors are lookin' real clean there Knightley, keep it up!

@Gits - Oh he was a centre piece of destruction for sure, lots of comments on the painting as well, mainly did you paint the interior, my god your insane, you wont ever see it, cue taking the cockpit roof off and the centre bit to show the internals, oh, well that looks awesome.

@Whale - Oh yeah, I hadn't bothered to read his stats, I got to look at his guns and their range and basically said, the table is 100" long, I'm going to sit here and shoot everything. In the picture, there was a multi tiered bastion with 4 squads in it, first round two D shots imploded it.

@Justaerin - Cheers, 4 months was a huge time investment, I'm happy to get him done, but never again.

@WarbossDakka - Thank you!

@Cam - It's all good, I know real life comes in to play far to much

@Mad - Yeah buddy!, tau aint got anything on me!

@EDC - There were two imperial players, 1500p each and the titan and Thunderhawk added on. The chaos side had 1500 each and the bastions/defense lines/bunkers as well as Erebus + Contemptor + squad of chosen I think.

@Solar - I'm itching to try him in another apoc game with knights and a warlord, rumour has it March may be when that happens.

@Cam - Always a worry that, you kind of get used to using a hugh brush, going back to a smaller one is hard.

@Mad - Not quite, I do have a completed squad, and yes the Carnifexes did mince those

Update: started on edge highlighting the armour now

Also had a sweet 4 player 8k game with me,LDP, Mad, and my brother. Ended turn 6 with heavy losses on the Demons/Tyranid side, I had a potential 4 lists to battle with and the GK's got called up for duty. Teamed up with LDP and we hid in our metal boxes (razorbacks) for a few turns before turning out the pain. - will upload any pics I took, may have only been one though.

Update: I went through the photos of the 8k Apoc game, to many were blurry and this was the only one in focus, what you see here is Marnius and his Honour Guard tanking everything that was shot at them!

I am steeling myself for another bigger model after some marines, expect something on Monday NZ time
