I do hope that GW are not just throwing in more Questoris-pattern Knights without addressing the lack of House troops. If they can't find the time and resources to do it then just put the profiles for Skiitari Rangers and Chaos Cultists in the respective codex books and be done with it.

My God I would love that. The grotmas detachment kinda loses value when you're supposed to buy a 2nd codex for it.

Particularly when you recognize that their non-inclusion in the codex makes it unlikely that GW will support the option beyond the life of the current edition

From yesterday's article...

Enjoy the brief calm – we’ll be back tomorrow with an ominous creak…

...so there should be an interesting announcement later today.

I doubt we are going straight into Space Wolves after World Eaters/Death Guard/Emperors Children if you mean that. Its more likely we are getting the AoS Soulblight Gravelords release today with the individual Deathrattle releases

I honestly do not have a scooby what they'll be doing today, but I'm at least guessing it will be a seperate article from the usual "Coming Soon..." one. It could be for any game....

I hope its the new Soulblight sets coming out in one big wave. New Spearhead, new dragon, new rider, new individual packs from the starter set that went out and the new endless spells.

Cause I'd love to get my hands on all of it!

I'm going to make a truly wild guess that it's a Leman Russ announcement alongside the wolfbox.

I feel like wolf-time being now would be a great thing for wolf fans but would make me start to wonder if something had gone wrong with the soulblight release - models lost to damage/shipment lost or somesuch.

Sure Russ is old, but if "omnious creak" is a way to herald his return, he might better stay away.

Sounds more like gravelords to me.

It was revealed at the start of the year; but so far only the limited starter set with codex got released. The rest of the range hasn't come out yet.
But GW has stuff from even before christmas like the new mounted hero from the Rohan anime that got teased and still hasn't come out either.

I'm assuming this a special announcement, as they don't normally give us clues as to what's going to be "Coming Soon...". So the Soulblight could indeed be going up for Preorder on Saturday.

Sometimes I do ponder if having bought Cursed City and going all in with Soulblights. Even if they get nuked, there's tons of fantasy games where they'd fit right in.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if some crazy players recreated the battle from Army of Darkness, with a little Ash model.

So it is vamps but with a footnote of "We’ll also have an Omnissiah-pleasing reveal for Warhammer 40,000." So I'd assume the loyalist knight.

My first thought, too. No way the AdMech would get something else revealed before their servitor kill team gets released.

Those wouldn't be for Warhammer 40,000 though.

Would they do a codex reveal during a normal weekday article? I'm pretty sure they'd save those for the preview shows, especially if its something as big as a Knight...

I mean they just did the rest of the SW range on a random Monday and their release schedule is obviously fethed to high hell at the minute for some reason.

Whatever happened to Baby chaos god's Dark Admech? I thought we were supposed to see that after the Hulk Crash... thing...?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Typically end of editions tend to tack on anew faction, 2026 is looking very light in the run up to 11th and there have been rumours of an "agents of vashtorr" type release.

Damn, 5 points to the guy who said that rumor engine was a bigger atomantic pavise.

I dunno, it kinda looks like it would be the same size as the previous atomatic pavise?

It’s a VSG, apparently.

The Knight Defender is a walking reliquary of ancient technology, boasting arcane energy relays strong enough to handle the immense strain of its rare and powerful weapons – a blazing plasma executor and the extraordinarily lethal conversion beam obliterator. Most distinctive of all is the bulbous void shield generator mounted on the top of its chassis, providing even greater protection than the usual ion shields in a flickering dome that can envelop other nearby allies.
The nobles who pilot these priceless relics are selfless on the battlefield, placing their significantly more durable steeds between their allies and the enemy’s guns. Those that think the Knights Defender are nothing more than a mobile bunker are swiftly rebuked, however, as the sheer killing power of their guns can wipe all but the strongest war machines from existence.

Do we think the VSG will be fieldable by any knoght in place of the flak gun or missile pod?
