Multiple choices possible. Pick the armies you would definitely want to start collecting.

Personally? I would love to field Turians. They look awesome and remind me a lot of the Elites from the Halo universe. My kind of alien. The Geth as a purely synthetic race also look pretty cool, especially the Primes.

On aesthetics alone, I'd go with either Collectors or the Quarians.

For gameplay, probably Asari, depending on how biotics would work.

Whichever army had the coolest figures.

The stats are meaningless to me - as is the fluff - having never played a single ME game (nor the inclination to want to).

A Mass Effect tabletop game?

I'd probably play Geth or Krogans but Humans are pretty badass too.

I've always liked the Geth in the ME games.

The lack of Reaper option is annoying though.

For me, Geth or Krogan as well.

Maybe with an allied Cerberus detachment.

Geth and Quarians would be my main choices.

Turians and Humans next, and if we can choose a "sub-faction", I'd say Cerberus

Quarians, followed swiftly by Asari, then Cerberus.

As to the thread, seems not a great fit for off topic, nor Dakka Discussion, so I'll move it to Video Games where it is at least sorta on topic.

Heh.

I'd imagine that if there were such a tabletop wargame coming that the factions are going to be radically different and tie in to any forthcoming Mass Effect titles.

On Nimbosa, cramming as many guardsmen into troop carriers as possible.

Blue suns army with batarians and vorcha!
In me3 multiplayer, my vorcha sentinel is my pride and joy, so painting up and using batarians, Vorcha, and a few pirates of other races would be amazing.

Humans duh, with the Alliance serving as Humanity's face and Cerberus as its shadow. Assuming no Reapers to worry about, our objectives will be as follows:

1) Undermine the Council by persuading the Batarians - by means of a bilateral trade agreement and recognizing the Skyllian Verge as a Batarian Zone of Interest - to superficially reform their caste system and toleration of slavery, enough to get the Alliance public to be more friendly.
2) Find a moderate Krogan leader *cough*Wrex*cough* to reunite the Krogan and ally with the Alliance in exchange for a Genophage cure.
3) Form an alliance with the Quarians.
4) Sign a non-aggression pact with the Geth.
5) Assassinate the Council and commence a full-scale invasion of Citadel Space with the full support/neutrality of the Terminus Systems.

"With the Citadel Council now a political afterthought, the whole galaxy looks forward to a new era wherein individual species rise and fall based on their own individual strengths and failures."

- ANN following the final victory over the now-defunct Council races

I'd nuke them back into the Stone Age; little buggers are too smart for their own good.

Or perhaps not smart enough.

I'd probably go with a Krogan/Asari army.
