( On another note, casualties includes all killed AND injured, not just those killed (this is a common misconception)( sorry, I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi)).

( just looked up definition of casualties: One injured, killed, captured, or missing in action through engagement with an enemy. I didn't know that it even included captured or missing troops!)

Thank the mighty Emperor of man kind for delivering us through our 1st battle. you have let us bond in blood as brothers. i know the future battles will not be as easy, but with you there, our faith will be strong to give us the means to protect ourselves.... *looks around* What!? Yes i pray! i'm no fool!
Yes soon we will spill the blood of our enemies for the Emperor in revenge for the loss off the Commanders hat. Vengeance must be had, the blood will flow in rivers next time anyone is deluded enough to stand before us. We will gather their skulls and pile them atop our tanks for it is the Emperor's bloody will.
Also- some of you may be please that the new sniper rifles have arrived therefore JKB will be heading up our new sniper team, anyone want a transfer? (we need 2 more)
