Hi everyone, I've just moved dakka to a new server. There are a few glitches that will be ironed out over the next few days. First off, the search engine will be broken for a week or so. Next, automated emails for PMs, etc will be a bit glitchy for a couple of days.

Any other major bugs, please let me know in this thread. Thanks!

Now that you mention it...

When I try to upload an image, it becomes a broken image and I just see the little broken picture icon even at the naming/etc. stage.

I renewed my DCM status today and lost access to the DCM forums....fora....whatchamacallits.

Nevermind, it's back...

Thanks for reporting. The image attach/upload bug is being fixed but is a slow fix. The DCM glitch should sort itself out. Agnosto, try logging out and logging in again to make [DCM] appear under your name as it should.

I will have to wait on the image fix. Just popped over here to report it but see you have it in hand. Do we need to reupload or just wait?

I've been having image issues since the last update. None of the images load for me - I just get the default broken image of the Ork holding a spanner. It doesn't matter what the image is - things in the Gallery, somebody's signature, etc. - I just get this Ork image.

I've also cleared my cache, deleted and re-uploaded everything in my gallery, but nothing seems to have worked. It's good old Ork with Spanner all the time.

Is mine an isolated issue, or is this more widespread? I read above that the image fix has already been applied, so the issue may be on my end.

Yes, this issue will be on your end - perhaps a proxy server is caching out of your control. Try holding down ctrl and clicking refresh - though if it is a proxy server between you and us it might just be a case of waiting 24 hours or so unfortunately.

Seeing this on occasion now instead of where I want to go on the N&R oard, it's staying on the dakka site but showing

I've gotten 2 similar errors to the one above this morning.

Refreshing seems to clear it, though.

Not sure if anybody else is experiencing this, but I get astonishing refresh times on the website while my other tabs are fine. I've cleared my cache and cookies. Probably just traffic.

while on my ipod, I noticed that dakka took ages to load while my other tabs were fine, I made sure I was on dakka lite and still.

Can you let me know if this still happens today please.

I too had that problem, refreshing mid load would clear the problem, but for me it has fixed itself.

I've started having problems with the forum forgetting where I'm up to in a thread. I'm getting [ First Unread ] links that take me to messages that I've already read, where there are no new posts in the thread.

For example, I just closed the browser, opened a new window and went to DakkaDakka, and it was telling me that I had not read my own post.

Nah, I'm still having this problem. No idea what's causing it. I've done a clean re-install of my web browser (Firefox), and it's stll messed up for me. No pretty pictures for me then.

Yeah the first unread glitch is one I've noticed too. I am working on it but it will be a few days to fix.

gohkm, it will be a proxy server at your ISP that is out of your control. It should settle down soon but is out of our control too.

gohkm, it will be a proxy server at your ISP that is out of your control. It should settle down soon but is out of our control too.

When clicking on first unread post I get to the thread but instead of the unread post I can see the posters name (but not avatar if they have one) and
